Study On Cultural Image Construction Of Dong Ka Lau In Documentaries

Documentaries with rich ethnic regional flavor and high quality can not only enhance the popularity and recognition of an ethnic group,but also have a profound impact on the ethnic group and play a very important role in the construction of the cultural image of an ethnic group.Dong ka Lau originates from cultural inheritance,and inherits culture by means of music,which directly shows the profound cultural details of the Dong people and has a distinct representation of ethnic culture.Dong ka Lau has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage with strong local and ethnic characteristics.However,due to the influence of various factors,the Dong ethnic group is facing the dilemma of inheriting without successors.Due to its unique advantages,film and television communication can record the intangible cultural heritage,better preserve the intangible cultural heritage,and at the same time can carry on the long-term inheritance.In combination with the author’s graduation work "Passing on the Fire",this paper discusses the construction strategy of the cultural image of Dong ka Lau in the documentary,mainly from the four aspects of regional image symbols,diversified themes,composite creation mode and audio-visual language.At present,there are few theoretical achievements in the research on the construction of cultural image of Dong ka Lau in film and television.This research is conducive to enriching the theoretical achievements in the construction of cultural image of documentaries,improving the quality of my works,and hoping to be of some help in carrying forward Dong ka Lau and other excellent ethnic cultures.
