Research On Visual Language Of Folk Decorations In Northeast

The folk culture of the Northeast China covers all aspects of material production,living customs,festival etiquette,and folk beliefs,and it shows the temperament,behavior habits and aesthetic feelings of the people in the Northeast.The main research object of this article is Northeast folk custom decoration art,which will start from the perspective of visual culture research and combine the research methods of semiotics and iconology to explain the Northeast folk decorative art.One is the internal analysis of the form,the second is the external analysis of cultural factors such as history,culture,and economy,and the third is the analysis of the symbolic function of the image by combining the above two points.The first chapter starts from exploring the historical source of Northeast folk custom decoration and the existing appearance of Northeast folk custom visual symbols,and preliminarily proves the parental relationship between Northeast folk custom decoration and Shaman culture.The second chapter focuses on form research,using classification to study a large number of visual graphics,using the principle of visual order to analyze the composition principles of graphics,and summarizing the primitive and religious nature of Northeast folk decoration art by comparing similar themes,colors,and graphic details.The third chapter analyzes the historical context and cultural symbols that can be sorted out behind the formal language,shows that there are a large number of visual symbols with shaman culture as the parent source in the Northeast folk custom decoration,and combines relevant contemporary art cases to illustrate its contemporary value.The fourth chapter collects relevant modern design cases based on the dual characteristics of Northeast folk decoration art,and explores the methods of expressing the characteristics of Northeast folk culture with visual symbols based on Shaman culture.t is hoped that the visual language study of Shaman culture can become a key to unlock the folk customs in the Northeast and contribute to the cultural development of the Northeast.
