| Cao Yu’s dramas represented by Thunderstorm Sunrise The Wilderness Beijing People touched on some basic themes of existential philosophy.However,up to now,from the perspective of existentialism,the results of thematic research on Cao Yu’s dramas are still blank and need to be further explored.This article takes this as the starting point.First,on the basis of previous studies,it deepens the historical data textual research on the origins of Cao Yu and existential philosophy in terms of internal and external factors.Next,based on the overall grasp of Thunderstorm Sunrise The Wilderness and Beijing Man the four scripts are respectively connected with a basic proposition of existential philosophy,and each is a chapter.Through the combination of history and theory and text analysis,Cao Yu’s thinking of existence in different historical periods and different writing texts is explained in detail,including the main content of his thinking about existence and the realistic reasons for its change.During the period of Thunderstorm,Cao Yu faced the big proposition of existence,focused more on the question of "what is existence",and explored the absurd realization of individual existence in the world from the perceptual level.Dasein triggers "fear" thinking through the sense of "being thrown away" absurdity,from which it examines itself and unfolds the possibility of self-struggle and self-determination.In this process,Cao Yu realized the subjective function of human beings,but due to the mysticism in his subjective world,Dasein’s self-struggle was finally lost.Cao Yu chose another way to resettled the individual’s the sense of "being thrown away" in a religious sense.Following the Thunderstorm that first expressed his thoughts on the existence of absurdity,Cao Yu in the period of Sunrise led more epistemologically to this in the absurdity of "why is this" The damage has launched a sharp criticism of the "sinking" "people" and a call for the "authentic" state of existence.During this period,Cao Yu traced the absurdity of being "thrown away" more in a rational sense,but he has not yet conducted a methodological discussion on the way out.Similar to Sunrise,The Wilderness also leads the questioning of the absurdity of existence in the epistemological level to the "self-deception" and "blinding" state of individual existence,and Cao Yu highlights being yourself.,Rebelling against despair and thinking about the existence of self-accounting for life.Compared with the pessimistic endings of Thunderstorm and Sunrise,the self-determination of "live to death" in The Wilderness implies the possibility and way out of Dasein’s surging out of absurd existence,but Cao Yu’s thinking of existence in this period Still facing a certain degree of lack of rationality.During the period of Beijing People,Cao Yu distinguished the two existence states of"authentic" and "non-authentic" and the two existential choices of "self-deception" and "for oneself" at the epistemological level,criticizing cannibalism as a "public"."Opinion" and Dasein’s negative orientation of "self-deception" and "self-abandonment.Facing the trend of the times,Cao Yu finally confirmed the way out of Dasein’s revolutionary choice of "for himself" in a methodological sense,and completed his own leap from a thinker to an actor.However,the way out of "for oneself" pointed out by "Beijing People",from "I" to "We",does not mean the final solution of the problem of "beyond the nothingness of existence".Therefore,this problem is still unfinished of.During the creation process from Thunderstorm to Beijing People,Cao Yu’s thinking of existence realized the gradual advancement and deepening of the meaning from epistemology to methodology,and formed a logical progressive relationship under the vision of existentialism.In this process Cao Yu himself also achieved a leap from a thinker to an actor. |
