Discussion On The Secondary Creation Of Guzheng“Walker”

As a popular music among colleges and Guzheng enthusiasts in recent years,Guzheng music “Walker” is a new work without in-depth study under limited theoretical exploration.In view that there exists a space for further research,this paper will conduct a comparative analysis of the scores and performance versions of the two young performers,Wei Yueming and Wang Yizhuo.Then,this paper carries out an in-depth study of the works in combination with the author’s interviews with the composers,the author’s learning and own understanding,in hope of providing certain references for future Guzheng learners.
