In recent years,with the advancement of quality education and new curriculum reforms,the teaching concept of comprehensive development has gradually been recognized by the majority of educators and schools,and all educators are also actively practicing this concept.The new curriculum standards emphasize students It is the foundation of education,so paying attention to students has become the core concept of the new curriculum standards.As students are independent thinking individuals,emotional life and emotional experience have become the research central issue of educators,such as learning motivation,learning burnout,personality differences,anxiety,learning styles and so on.Perceptual learning style,as one of the learning styles,reflects the differences in learners’ personalities,which has stable psychological characteristics,and directly affects students’ learning styles.Therefore,the author intends to study the relationship between oral English ability and perceptual learning styles.The author selected 107 students in the second grade of a middle school as the research object,and distributed questionnaire survey to them.Then the author tested their oral English ability.The relationship between perceptual learning style and oral English ability is verified,and conclusions are obtained.Finally,enlightenment and suggestions for teachers’ oral teaching and students’ oral learning are put forward.This article focuses on six aspects: Firstly,is there any connection between perceptual learning style and the use of oral strategies? If so,what is the connection?Secondly,is there any relationship between perceptual learning style and the level of oral English performance? If so,what is the connection? Thirdly,is there any relationship between the English of the oral learning strategy and the level of oral English performance? If so,what is the connection?The results of the study show that junior high school students have different perceptual learning styles.Junior high school students use oral learning strategies in a diversified manner.Memory strategies and metacognitive strategies are the main focus.More importantly,the perceptual learning styles of junior high school students between different groups There is no significant difference in performance,but the four perceptual learning styles all have significant correlations with oral learning strategies,and there is a significant correlation between oral learning strategies and oral performance,and there are significant differences in the oral performance of junior high school students between different groups of English oral strategies.Based on statistical analysis of data,the author makes suggestions to know students’ learning styles and the use of learning strategies,and trains students with different perceptual learning styles in different learning strategies,so that learners can use strategies which are helpful to their oral English ability;As for teachers,the teacher’s teaching methods can be more diversified,and use different senses to stimulate students’ language input and information output,taking into account the needs of learners with different perceptual learning styles,so as to mobilize learners’ language input and output mechanisms and improve the learners’ oral English ability.
