Chinese character teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching.However,the current research on the teaching of Chinese characters in Cambodia is not sufficient.The author,took advantage of the one-year teaching internship opportunity at University of Heng Samrin Thbongkhmum in Cambodia,collected a large amount of Chinese writing materials and analyzed both static and dynamic aspects that conducted interviews and surveys with students in order to more accurately understand the learners’ Chinese characters Reasons for errors and provide targeted teaching suggestions.The first part is the introduction,expounding the topic value,research status,research theories and methods.The second part is a survey of the background of writing Chinese characters among Cambodian university students.First,it expounds the Chinese teaching in Cambodia and the Chinese teaching in University of Heng Samrin Thbongkhmum in Cambodia,and introduces the survey subjects in detail.Then analyzed the source of the corpus.One is static corpus,which comes from the learner’s notes,dictation,homework and examination;the other is dynamic corpus,65 Chinese characters are randomly selected from the learner’s textbook,and the students’ writing is observed through video recording.All processes of Chinese characters.Finally,it summarizes the error classification method.The third part is a static analysis of the errors of Cambodian college students’ writing of Chinese characters.The types of errors are mainly divided into two categories:mischaracters and typos,and are subdivided from strokes,parts,whole characters,and other errors.It is concluded that the errors of the elementary-level students are mainly concentrated in the stroke errors,while the intermediate-level students’ errors are mainly concentrated in the strokes.Mistakes in other words gradually became more prominent and so on.The fourth part is a dynamic case analysis of Cambodian college students’ Chinese character writing errors.Three testers were randomly selected from the elementary class and the intermediate class respectively,and the tester’s dynamic process of writing Chinese characters was recorded through the whole process of video recording and writing without interference.In dynamic writing,the tester’s stroke order errors are particularly prominent.The elementary and intermediate stroke order errors show similar regular characteristics.Then we will further explore the relationship between the number of strokes and the accuracy of stroke order,as well as the relationship between the topological structure of Chinese characters and the accuracy of Chinese character writing.Relationship and so on.The fifth part is to analyze the reasons for the Chinese character errors of Cambodian college students,mainly from the aspects of mother tongue,target language,learners,teachers and courses.The sixth part is to put forward teaching suggestions for the reasons of Chinese character errors in this article,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions for students of different levels,mainly from the aspects of students,teachers,school courses and so on.
