| In his report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)held on October 18,2017,Xi Jinping summarized the experience and achievements of the past five years,and put forward the concept of a "new era" that is full of political and contemporary significance.The arrival of the new era makes science and technology documentaries follow the tide of The Times and appear in a blowout of a number of theme documentaries showing China’s scientific and technological achievements.The theme science and technology documentaries generated under the background of the new era can be said to construct the path and direction of national science and technology consciousness.It has become its bounden duty to tell the science and technology stories of the new era,spread the science and technology culture,and stimulate the public’s feelings about science and technology.But on the other hand,the emergence of postmodernism makes the creation and dissemination of science and technology documentaries under the theme also add multiple ideological elements.Contradictions and pluralistic and complex ideologies in the social transformation period are impacting the guiding position of the single Marxist ideology.In this context,how can Chinese science and technology documentaries tell science and technology stories in the new era? The author thinks that a good story should have true foundation,good guidance and beautiful expression at the same time.In other words,it should not only have positive scientific guidance,but also respect the audience’s preference and conform to the law of artistic beauty.This article will select a new era of science and technology with the three outstanding theme class with the documentary for analysis and research,such as narrative,communication theory as the foundation,to the new era theme documentary of science and technology from the "consumption","social" "political games" the three sides facing documentary discusses the influence of science and technology,placed in political field is concentrated expression of landscape,culture and political the three aspects of narrative perspective.The first chapter discusses the innovative transformation in the narrative discourse of sci-tech documentaries under the influence of "consumption field" since the new era,and expresses the characteristics of sci-tech documentaries in the landscape of narrative discourse from three aspects of visualization,spectacle and experience.The reason why science and technology documentaries should be analyzed from the perspective of consumption is that if science and technology documentaries produced in the mainstream context are completely different from the other three kinds of discourse,and only carry out the transmission of their core political discourse,their audience range will be narrowed in the process of creation,which is not conducive to their dissemination.On the other hand,if the presentation process of science and technology documentaries from this perspective excessively caters to the needs of the "consumption field",the essence of science and technology will be deconstructed to a certain extent.Therefore,this paper also discusses how to balance the expression between the two in the creation of science and technology documentaries from this perspective.The second chapter discusses the changes in the narrative perspectives and ways of science and technology documentaries under the influence of "social field" since the new era,and analyzes the humanistic characteristics of the narrative discourse of science and technology documentaries from three aspects: emotionalization,humanization and humanization.The "social field" contains the discourse of elite culture,questioning and reflecting on the double-sided nature of science and technology,and thinking about science and technology from a broader human perspective.However,the documentaries from this perspective have such problems as the ideal interpretation of science and technology and the lack of an open and lofty global vision in the expression of human culture that audiences cannot understand the nature of science and technology.Therefore,the paper also makes some attempts to solve the response to this problem.The third chapter discusses the unique characteristics of Chinese science and technology documentaries under the influence of "political field" since the new era.This paper analyzes the characteristics of politicization of the narrative discourse of sci-tech documentaries from three aspects: the idea of rejuvenating the country through science and technology,the power of never repeating it,and the transmission of the national will.It also points out that there are still some problems in the politicized expression,such as the hard communication of science and technology and the single communication channel. |
