| In today’s increasingly frequent international communication,English language ability is increasingly valued.Among them,English listening,as the "input" link of language,is very important to the formation of the pronunciation and language sense of primary school learners.However,the current English listening teaching in some areas lacks a standard external input environment,and the problem of the gap between learners’ listening ability and the requirements of the new curriculum standard has not been effectively solved.At present,the intelligent speech synthesis technology is mature,and the research finds that the technology can play a unique advantage in language teaching.Based on this,this study,from the perspective of technology,studies the feasibility of the application of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching,and on this basis,constructs the application model of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching,and verifies its application effect in English listening teaching.This study uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,interview method and other research methods to carry out related research.The main research work is embodied in the following three aspects:First,the feasibility of the application of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching is analyzed.The application conditions of intelligent speech synthesis technology in different teaching activities and classes are listed in detail from two aspects of basic teaching activities and class types in English teaching.In practice,the feasibility of the application of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching is investigated and verified.The results show that the audio generated by intelligent speech synthesis technology is standard and clear,natural and smooth,and can be used as a model sound in primary school English listening teaching.Second,the application model of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching is constructed.Based on the three-stage theory of listening and information processing theory,the external teaching activities of teachers in listening teaching are defined,and on this basis,the application mode of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching is formed by combining the functions of intelligent speech synthesis technology.Thirdly,carry out the experimental research on the application mode of intelligent speech synthesis technology in listening teaching.This study conducted a comparative experiment on two fifth-grade classes in a primary school in Zhejiang,tested their English listening scores before and after the experiment,conducted a questionnaire survey after the experiment,and interviewed the teachers.The results show that:(1)The application of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching can improve the listening performance of learners.(2)The application mode of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching can help learners improve their listening ability and listening comprehension ability.(3)The application of intelligent speech synthesis technology in primary school English listening teaching can reduce learners’ fear of difficulties in listening and gradually build up their confidence in English listening learning. |
