A Report On C-E Of Chapter 5-10 Of 2019-2024 Loader Industry Competition Analysis And Development Forecast Report

With the rise of the construction machinery industry,Sino-foreign exchanges in this field are frequent.I wrote this report on the basis of the Chinese-English translation of Chapter 5-10 of 2019-2024 Loader Industry Competition Analysis and Development Forecast Report which an off-campus tutor entrusted to me during my internship.The structure of this report is the translation project description,translation process,theoretical foundation,case analysis and conclusion.The translation project description includes the project background,significance and structure,and the translation process includes before the translation,during the translation and after the translation.The theoretical basis is mainly Skopos theory and the introduction of the three principles.In the last part,the problems and deficiencies appear in the whole translation process have been summarized and specific solutions have been put forward by the translator.Guided by Skopos Theory,and based on the problems encountered in the translation practice,this report offers corresponding solutions to ensure that the analysis of the report is correct and reasonable.The skopos rule,the coherence rule,and the fidelity rule are applied to analyze the report from three levels: vocabulary,sentences,and discourse.By analyzing the language differences between Chinese and English terms,sentences and discourse,the translator expounds the specific difficulties encountered in the translation of terms,sentences,and texts and the causes of the difficulties.On the basis of the analysis,the translator summarizes several translation strategies in the text: The translation of professional terms can adopt the literal translation and free translation to facilitate the understanding of target readers;Sentence translation can adopt combination,converting active voice into passive voice,amplification,omission and substitution so that the translation is easy to accept.Discourse translation starts from two aspects:cohesion and coherence.In the process of the translation practice,the translator sums up the above translation strategies and techniques,hoping to provide a certain reference for Chinese-English translation projects of similar topics.
