| The birth of literary time marks the possibility of human subjective emotions reshaping the objective physical time.Breaking the arrow of time is the concretization of poem power.In Li Yuansheng’s nearly forty years of poetry creation,time is the most profound motivation and one of the most important topics.However,there is a lack of systematic research on Li Yuansheng’s poetry as a whole at present.Therefore,this paper attempts to start from the important and penetrating theme of "time",intending to make a more systematic summary of Li Yuansheng’s poetic art and poetic thinking.It also explores the spiritual enlightenment significance of his "wasting" time concept to current real life while investigating the value of poetic art.This paper will deeply analyze Li Yuansheng’s knowledge and understanding of time in his creation from the three-fold mechanism of breaking,restructuring and degrading.The introduction summarizes the research status of Li Yuansheng’s poetry,discusses what is time consciousness,and clarifies the research boundary.The main body of the paper is composed of three parts.The first chapter focuses on the analysis of Li Yuansheng’s specific artistic methods to break the uniform speed and one-way view of time.Li Yuansheng has clearly put forward the independence and disorder of poetry time in his poetry many times in order to create poetic experience of a non-uniform speed in the poetry world.In addition,Li Yuansheng’s poetry embodies an alternative way of observing the world—a wound.The two sides of the chapped wound reflect each other.The subject "I" hides in the middle gap and pauses at a certain time node,forming an aesthetic tension full of conflict and contradictory consciousness.Finally,through the insertion of classical discourse,Li Yuansheng involved people of different eras on the same web to experience and perceive again,and achieved the unfamiliar beauty,isolation,and heaviness of his poetry.The second chapter mainly introduces Li Yuansheng’s private psychological reconstruction mechanism using his own psychological nodes as a ruler to express the perception of the flow of time,especially focusing on the adjustment of the inner order of poets who are in the "river of middle age".And typical time symbols,such as flowers,butterflies,spring-autumn,winter-summer,day-night,morning-dusk and so on,also reflect the poet’s personalized feelings.Although nostalgia is unavoidable,Li Yuansheng’s poetry seldom reveals the helplessness of " time goes by like running water," but instead presents a mature,conscious and calm intellectual contemplation.The third chapter interprets Li Yuansheng’s poetry to complete the disenchantment and transcendence of the "time myth" through "degradation".Li Yuansheng judged the texture of time to be “ in paper” and regarded text,reading,and writing as ways of communicating with time and history,which turned the intangible into tangible.The interactive relationship between "I" and time presented in the poetry and the "circulation" and "rebirth" scattered in many places in the poetry also express the circular view of time that the poet believes in,thereby dismantling the root of time authority-irreversibility.More importantly,the "wasted" life rule of "wasting time" responds to the modern demand for treatment under time violence.This is also the ultimate concern of a poet for life. |
