The research object of this paper is the Chinese monosyllables and disyllable learning situation of primary Chinese learners in Turkmenistan,and the experiment is conducted mainly from the pronunciation and perception of monosyllable and disyllables in Chinese.Through the experiment,the law of pronunciation and perception errors is found out,the causes are analyzed,and the corresponding teaching countermeasures are proposed.This paper consists of two parts of experiments.The first is the production experiment,which will investigate the pronunciation characteristics of monosyllable and disyllables of Turkmen overseas students.The specific operation is to compare the pronunciation results of Chinese speakers and Turkmen speakers,and analyze the duration,tone range,tone shape and tone pitch.The second part is the perception experiment,which will investigate the monosyllable and disyllables listening and discrimination of Turkmen students in Mandarin.The specific operation is to compare the pronunciation results of Chinese and Turkmen speakers,and analyze the error rate and error type of each tone and tone combination.The experimental results show that Turkmen Chinese learners have errors in the production and perception of monosyllable and disyllables tones in Chinese,and there is imbalance between perception and production.Through experimental research,this article finds out the beginners’ errors in Chinese tones learning in Turkmenistan,and suggestions are put forward from three aspects:focuses on teaching the imbalance between perception and production,and intensive teaching and adjustment for the significant problems in the acquisition of each tone of the students,adjust and improve teaching methods.Which will help Turkmenistan students improve tone pronunciation.In addition,as the Chinese acquisition errors of overseas students are becoming more and more country-specific,this research is also of certain value to the construction of a country-specific intelligent speech learning platform.
