China is a unified multi-ethnic country.Xinjiang has been an inseparable part of the motherland since ancient times. The people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are family members of the Chinese nation. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War,at this time of the life and death of the Chinese nation, the children of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and the people of the whole country are close to each other emotionally, share weal and woe,and go to the national calamity together to resist foreign humiliation.Post transportation was the main mode of transportation in ancient China.Due to the slow development of transportation in Modern Xinjiang, poor automobile transportation, less achievements in railway and aviation, the folk transportation was still dominated by animal transportation.During the Anti Japanese War,people in Xinjiang still used post transportation to travel, trade and transfer materials. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War,the main domestic transportation routes were blocked and destroyed by the Japanese army, and the future of the war was seriously threatened. In view of this, the national government proposed to restore the post transportation, use both vehicles and loads, expand the transportation capacity and alleviate the crisis. All provinces of the country have set up post transportation and set up institutions. In Xinjiang, branch post transportation offices have been set up to handle official post transportation business and mobilize people to participate in the Anti Japanese War transportation.Guided by historical materialism, this paper studies the development of post transportation in Xinjiang during the Anti Japanese war by using the methods of historical literature analysis, comparison and statistics. This paper mainly discusses the development of post transportation in Xinjiang during the Anti Japanese War(1931-1945),which is divided into four chapters. The first chapter studies the development background of post transportation in Xinjiang before the Anti Japanese war.Since the silk road was opened up in the Han Dynasty,Xinjiang has been closely connected with the mainland, and its transportation has been widely spread and there are many post stations by the end of the Qing Dynasty.Although before the Anti Japanese War,the automobile transportation in Xinjiang province had a preliminary development, but the majority of the people still rely on animal power to engage in material transportation and trade, and post transportation plays an important role in Xinjiang. The second chapter introduces the organization of Xinjiang post transportation during the Anti Japanese War,combs the development of its official organization from "post transportation stock" to "Xinjiang post transportation branch",and discusses the change process from the provincial government to the national government. It also discusses the measures taken by the provincial government to develop the post transportation during the Anti Japanese War,such as managing roads and post stations, setting freight rates, developing animal power, and making means of transportation. The third chapter discusses the actual transportation situation of Xinjiang post transportation during the Anti Japanese War,and discusses the mileage, post distribution, military supplies and civil goods transportation and passenger transport development of each main post transportation route from three aspects of intra provincial, inter provincial and international routes. The international post transportation route from Xinjiang to Sulian and India is an important channel for transferring aid materials during the Anti Japanese war,Under the call of the Anti Japanese national united front of the CPC Central Committee, all the people of Xinjiang fully carried forward the spirit of patriotism, sacrificed themselves for the public and made outstanding contributions to supporting the Anti Japanese war.In the fourth chapter,it is concluded that during the Anti Japanese War,Xinjiang post transportation had a wide range, high public participation and remarkable results. It not only replenished transportation capacity, adjusted supply and demand, but also transferred materials to support the Anti Japanese war.Although it was affected by political factors and had many shortcomings in the development process,it reflected that the people of Xinjiang shared common hatred with thousands of Chinese people during the Anti Japanese war,The great Anti Japanese war spirit of dedication. In general, during the Anti Japanese War,the sons and daughters of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang were united with the people of the whole country and contributed to the Anti Japanese War through post transportation. The Anti Japanese war spirit of Xinjiang people who loved their motherland and were not afraid of difficulties and dangers is worth inheriting.
