In modern Chinese,verbs are a large class and also the core part of sentences.Among them,hand verbs are an important part of them,and also a large category.The monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu" is very common in daily life,and their meanings are not only interrelated but also different.Although it is easy for Chinese students to understand the nuances,i find that they do not fully understand these verbs,and some of them may be misused.Based on the existing works,there are few researches on the "zhua,na,nie,jiu" of the monosyllabic hand verbs.This paper will study the "zhua,na,nie and jiu" of the monosyllabic hand verbs with the meaning of "holding",and put forward some suggestions on Teaching Chinese as a foreign language according to the results of the research.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the reasons,purpose and significance of this paper,combing the current situation of the research,and expounding the main research methods and corpus sources.The second chapter is divided into two parts.The first part collects and sorts out the frequency distribution of the "holding type" monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu" in the modern Chinese Frequency Dictionary and the specific meanings in the modern Chinese Dictionary;the second part collects and investigates the relevant corpus in CCL modern Chinese corpus and HSK dynamic composition corpus,and analyzes the single tone of "holding type" The article analyzes the usage of the "zhua,na,nie,jiu" in the corpus.Not only is the distribution of the meanings of the "holding type" monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie,and jiu" in the CCL modern Chinese corpus and HSK dynamic composition corpus classified and sorted out,but also the grammatical collocation structure is analyzed.At the same time,the wrong use cases of "holding type" monosyllabic hand verbs in HSK dynamic composition corpus are analyzed error analysis.In conclusion,the "holding" monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie,jiu" belongs to the common words with higher frequency,and the common frequency is from high to low as "zhua"-"na"-"nie"-"jiu".In corpus,the meaning of "holding" of monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie,jiu" is most commonly used.The degree of mastery of the collocation structure of "zhua,na,nie,jiu" of "move object" monosyllabic hand verb is better than that of "move complement".The third chapter is the questionnaire design and investigation based on the statistical results of dictionaries and corpus.According to the statistics and analysis of the questionnaire results,we found that the accuracy rate of the acquisition of "holding type" collocation of "zhua,na,nie and jiu" of the "move object" monosyllabic hand verb is higher than that of the "move complement" structure collocation acquisition.This situation is in line with the above-mentioned survey of dictionaries and corpus.At the same time,it is concluded that the acquisition of the "holding type" monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu" by international students is not the conclusion that the acquisition of the "zhua,na,nie and jiu" is not improved with the improvement of the level of Chinese,but also related to the difficulty of the acquisition content,the learning sequence and whether to review in time.The fourth chapter first investigates the distribution of the monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu" in HSK outline of New Chinese proficiency examination,outline of Chinese level vocabulary and Chinese character level.Then,it investigates the distribution,interpretation and grammatical characteristics of the hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu" in the two textbooks of "Developing Chinese" and "Chinese Tutorial" the results were analyzed.The results show that the "holding type" monosyllabic hand verbs "zhua,na,nie and jiul" are all corresponding in the syllabus or textbooks,but there are some omissions in the textbooks for foreign students,such as "zhua,na,nie and jiu" are not reappeared in the textbooks in time.The two textbooks of "holding type" single syllable hand verbs are not repeated in the two textbooks,namely,in "Chinese Tutorial" and " Developing Chinese " the "nie" and "jiu" are written in.This chapter aims at the problems in the acquisition of the "holding type" monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu",and the problems in the outline and teaching materials.Chapter five is the conclusion,which summarizes the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.This paper makes a detailed investigation of the monosyllabic hand verb "zhua,na,nie and jiu" in dictionaries,corpus,outline and textbooks,and make a detailed comparative analysis to distinguish the differences,and put forward some suggestions for the specific teaching process.The deficiency is that there are many monosyllabic hand verbs in "holding type".This paper does not exhaustive comparative study on the monosyllabic hand verbs of "holding type".
