| Taoism is a native religion in China.Together with Confucianism and Buddhism,Taoism constitutes the three pillars of Chinese traditional culture,which has an important influence on Chinese ancient ideology,culture and social life.Quanzhen Taoism,as one of important sects in the history of Chinese Taoism,originated in Shanxi Province,was founded and flourished in Shandong Province,and finally spread to all parts of China.After entering the Qing Dynasty,Quanzhen Taoism,led by Longmen sect,once again created a situation of great development in the land of China,and Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong also showed a development trend of resounding.Based on previous researches,this paper collects various historical materials and uses various methods to make a relatively systematic study of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty,centering on its sects,Taoists and temples,aiming to show its overall development and explain its far-reaching historical influence.The main contents are as follows:There were multiple factors influencing the development of Quanzhen Dao of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty.Jiaodong has had the cultural tradition of harmonious coexistence of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism since ancient times.The unique human and geographical environment,combined with the Qing government’s relatively loose policy on Quanzhen Taoism,laid an important foundation for the development of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in Qing Dynasty,and the development of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in Qing Dynasty was a logical historical continuation of Quanzhen Taoism in Jin,Yuan and Ming Dynasties.The inheritance of sects and the promotion of Taoism by Taoists were the important contents of the development of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty.The inheritance of various sects of Quanzhen Taoism was an important issue in the study of Quanzhen Taoism in the Qing Dynasty.Taoists of Quanzhen Taoism are closely linked to the heritage of various sects of Quanzhen Taoism.In the Qing Dynasty,many sects of Quanzhen Taoism spread and developed in Jiaodong area,and a large number of well-known Taoists emerged.They not only strictly observed the rules and regulations,but also actively carried forward Quanzhen Taoism and attracted people to practice Quanzhen Taoism,which promoted the development of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty.Palace temples were the important carrier and support of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in Qing Dynasty.At the beginning of its establishment,Quanzhen Taoism established the system of Taoist monks living in temples and practicing together.The mode of existence of Quanzhen Taoism has always been based on palace temples.In order to maintain its own development,Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty built many temples and repaired many famous ones in history.These temples are the historical witness of the inheritance and development of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty.Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty established a good interactive relationship with the local society,especially with the interaction between local culture as a model.The trend of secularization and regionalization of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty was further strengthened,and its integration with local culture and regional tradition was realized through various ways,which made Quanzhen Taoism more deeply rooted in the local society and expanded its influence in the society.Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty showed remarkable development characteristics in terms of scale,time and region,and had a multi-dimensional historical influence.Quanzhen Taoism has been passed on for hundreds of years.The development of Quanzhen Taoism of Jiaodong in the Qing Dynasty is of great significance not only to the development of the thought of the unity of three religions in the Qing Dynasty,but also to the development of Taoism itself and the trend of local culture in Jiaodong.To a certain extent,it shaped the form of Taoism of Jiaodong during the Republic of China and even today. |
