Research On Love And Marriage In Lu Min’s Novels

Love and marriage is an enduring motif of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign literary works,and the changes of the concept of love and marriage in different times highlight the evolution of social culture behind it.As a female writer with a strong sense of social responsibility,love and marriage writing runs through Lu Min’s writing career for more than 20 years,and takes modern love and marriage life as a window to show the current situation of individual existence from its unique perspective.In the writing of love and marriage,Lu Min always follows his own creative path to extend his strokes to people’s mental state,and takes the relationship between men and women and personal spiritual demands as his creative mission.While expressing the love and marriage itself,efforts should be made to present the social and spiritual connotations behind the marriage and love.This paper takes the love and marriage writing in Lu Min’s novels as the research object,and analyzes the presentation form,artistic techniques,causes,value and limitations of the love and marriage writing in Lu Min’s novels on the basis of careful reading of the novel text.Starting from the text of Lu Min’s novels,the first chapter analyzes the appearance of love and marriage writing in Lu Min’s novels and discusses the marriage and love results of the characters in his novels.The first section analyzes the marriage and love relationship of young,middle-aged and old people in Lu Min’s works.The first kind is that the love and marriage of young men and women are in a state of dislocation,and the beautiful love is lost in the material swamp and abnormal sensual desires.The second kind is the middle-aged men and women who take place in the besieged city,and their marriage life presents a morbid picture of betrayal and estrangement.The third category is the stage of old age,the elderly still have a passion for love in their twilight years.The second section points out the three results of marriage and love,some choose to end their lives with death,some choose to return to the original track of life,and some are reborn in reflection and struggle.The second chapter analyzes the artistic techniques of marriage and love writing in Lu Min’s novels.First of all,from the perspective of image setting,Lu Min takes the image as a foothold to see through the psychological world of the characters,implicitly indicating his worry and concern for modern love and marriage;secondly,with the precise use of ironic narrative,in the huge contrast between the surface and essence of the event,it highlights and strengthens the love and marriage dilemma faced by modern people.The third chapter excavates the causes of love and marriage writing in Lu Min’s novels.It is mainly explained from two aspects: the realistic environment in the period of social transformation and the writer’s personal experience.On the one hand,the negative factors and disadvantages of modernization have become increasingly prominent during the period of social transformation,and the realistic environment is invisibly guiding the creation of marriage and love writing.On the other hand,the absence of fatherly love and parents’ failed marriage on the way of growing up laid the foundation for the love and marriage writing of her novel.The fourth chapter discusses the value and limitation of love and marriage writing in Lu Min’s novels.This chapter mainly analyzes the value of Lu Min’s love and marriage writing from two aspects: the exploration of healthy ideal marriage and love relationship and the reconstruction of human spiritual home,and discusses the problems and limitations shown.
