There are many mythological and historical figures in Qu Fu,and their images are different. They are widely distributed in Qu Yuan’s works. The image modeling and praise and criticism of these characters constitute the most basic writing of Qu Fu,which carry Qu Yuan’s ideals and value orientation. After the text analysis of “Li Sao”,“Jiu Zhang” and “Tian Wen” in the way of comparative research,we can find that character writing in different articles of Qu Fu reflects theopposite and complementary characteristics of Qu Yuan’s thoughts. This article believes that the spirit of Qu Yuan’s thoughts reflected in the writing of mythological and historical figures in Qu Fu can be divided into two levels. One is the thinking of personal fate, which is mainly reflected in the writing of “Li Sao” and “Jiu Zhang” on the Qu Yuan’s spiritual dilemma and the exploration of the way out.Li Sao” talks more about Qu Yuan’s political ideal and its realization method, but “Jiu Zhang" talks more about Qu Yuan’s political situation and the unrealization of his ideals in reality. They are both opposite and complementary, and they embody the spiritual dilemma caused by the conflicts between Qu Yuan’s ideals and reality,as well as between individuals and society. The writing of special characters in “Li Sao”and “Jiu Zhang” reflects Qu Yuan’s value orientation which is centered on“persistence” and the spirit of pursuing ideals, and the spirit of willingness to sacrifice for the pursuit of ideals. They are both opposite and complementary, and both embody the exploration of the way out by Qu Yuan. The other is the thinking of Chu state’s fate, which is mainly reflected in the writing of “Li Sao” and “Jiu Zhang” on Qu Yuan’s speculation of heaven and man and the hope for future of Chu nation.“Li Sao”unifies Tian De,Jun De and Min De by the writing for kings of Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasty. But “Tian Wen” questions the views of “Li Sao” by writing about the decline of the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties, dispel the authority of "Heaven’s Will",and assigns the right of historical interpretation to personnel. They are both opposite and complementary, and they embody Qu Yuan’s speculation of heaven and man.Qu Yuan extended this kind of speculation about heaven and man from the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties to the history of Chu state. On the one hand,he inherited the perspective based on the world of “Li Sao” to put the Chu state in a space beyond Chu and a longer time beyond the Zhou dynasty to see its rise and fall.On the other hand,he continued the questioning of the legitimacy of Xia,Shang and Zhou in “Tian Wen” to take Chu state as the answer to who will rule the world after Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties,in order to express his hope for the improvement of the political goals of the Chu nation.
