Research On The Humanistic Issues Of Design Ethics In The Context Of Internet Of Things

The emergence of the Io T technology has completely subverted social production and lifestyles in the traditional industrial era,it has also triggered profound changes in the entire society.‘Things’ have been embedded in the core of thought,and the boundaries between the real and the virtual have been broken.Technology helps us to look forward to the vision of a better life,inevitably,it also brings some negative effects,bringing unprecedented opportunities and challenges to design.‘Things’ penetrate deeply into people’s lives through design techniques,challenging the existing subject status and humanistic value in a form of personification.The unity of opposites between ‘technology’and ‘humanity’ is the most prominent contradiction in the current Io T product design,and humanity is a direct reflection of design ethics.When the prestige of technology uses its own ‘power logic’ to unstoppable aggression in people’s lives,we should give full play to the power of science and technology for good and humanistic care to counter it.This article analyzes the design activities in the context of the Io T.First,it cuts into the cultural experience orientation of product perception and the experience orientation of social multiculturalism,and discusses the smart products based on the Internet of Things technology in a positive attitude.Positive ethical orientation and cultural identity derived from the wide application in social life,including comprehensive perception and interconnection,deep integration of media and society,media extension of human functions;highlighting of user values,liberation of subject consciousness,and public interest care.Secondly,it conducts in-depth exploration and reflection from the three dimensions of people and things,people and themselves,and people and society,and reexamines people’s behavior patterns,mental models,values and concepts in such a situation where reality and virtual overlap and merge.The transformation of social culture aims to demonstrate from an objective and rational perspective a series of humanistic dilemmas brought to the society by the application of the Io T technology in current design activities.They include the physical dissolution of the human body,the one-dimensional life mode,the personification of things and the objectification of people,the diminishing of human subjectivity;technological beliefs and information anxiety,the lack of subject ethical values,the distortion of personal cognition,and interpersonal communication Challenges;information cocoon rooms and circular prisons under digital algorithms,privacy and information security issues,the elimination of social multiculturalism,digital divides and cultural barriers.Faced with such a real situation,this article finally puts forward the design ethics humanistic regulation of the Io T technology,the construction of the core ethical values of the Io T,the Io T social design ethics humanistic norms and the Io T design ethics humanities based on the human dilemma of design ethics in the context of the Io T Education strengthens four aspects of design ethics and humanistic attribute reconstruction strategies.They include breakthroughs in the core technology of the Io T,establishment of the Io T technology standard system,and value-sensitive design for the good of science and technology;strengthening the subject media literacy education,cultivating subject cultural consciousness,the unity of individual subject consciousness and public value orientation;innovating and sublating existing Ethical norms,sound design ethics evaluation and rewards and punishment mechanisms,and the institutionalization of the Io T design ethics system;cultivate designers’ sense of social responsibility,optimize the school design ethics curriculum,and popularize social education on design ethics.The author believes that design,as a subjective social and cultural behavior,should adopt a cautious attitude to give full play to the essential power of technological ‘goodness’ to shape more complementary human-machine relationships,interpersonal relationships,and sustainable cultural forms to achieve the unity of instrumental rationality and value rationality.
