Yongning Town is the most typical multi-ethnic and multi-religious area in Ninglang Yi Autonomous County,and it is the most typical area in Ninglang Yi Autonomous County that has developed from a single ethnic group to a mixed community of multiple ethnic groups.With the development of time,new peoples have taken root here.From the historic Tea Horse Road to the center of the present Great Shangri-La Loop.The religious belief culture of all ethnic groups in Yongning Town has a long history and profound cultural connotation.In history,multiple ethnic groups and religions coexisted,with freedom of religious belief and social harmony.The study of the harmonious coexistence of multiple religions in Yongning town will help to analyze the formation of the phenomenon of multiple religions and the internal mechanism of social harmony.This article mainly through the literature research method,the field investigation method to Yongning town Mosuo,Yi,Pumi,Tibetan,Naxi,Zhuang,Han and other ethnic groups of the historical development process and religious belief culture to do an in-depth investigation.Through the in-depth excavation of the interaction mode among religions and ethnic groups and the transition process of religious culture in the field,the pluralistic religions and social harmony are studied.This paper tries to analyze the practical significance of harmonious coexistence of multiple religions in building a harmonious socialist society.The study shows that the diversity of religious belief and ethnic characteristics are very distinct in Yongning town.The practice of religious belief in Yongning Town is confronted with an increasingly complex pluralistic system,which is also the common situation faced by all ethnic religious cultures in today’s globalization.In the course of its development,the original religions of yongning town have not only adhered to the genetic characteristics of their mother culture,but also absorbed the institutional religions in an inclusive way to form a multi-religious belief culture with local characteristics.Religion harmony is a kind of social harmony.Religion harmony means social harmony.Religion is harmonious when society is harmonious.The harmonious coexistence of multiple religions is an important force to build a harmonious socialist society.
