| Most of the documents are written on daily life,mostly on private matters,trivial matters,and small matters,and they are about family matters,which were called "such as face-to-face talks" in the late Ming Dynasty.Among the ruled documents,the family letters are the most respected and are even regarded as the model of "essay".The Qing Dynasty calligrapher Wang Duo’s "Handwriting with Jiang Mengfan" is written in a relaxed and casual manner,with an airy flow.Although it is not a household name like the giant banners,its artistic value is extremely high,and as a representative of Wang Duo’s calligraphic style,it is worthy of study by future generations because of its literati and scholarly atmosphere.Unlike Wang Duo’s formal performance-based creations,the ruler’s writing is more authentic,and is the most realistic state of Wang Duo’s early calligraphy.The writing of ruled documents has the charm of classical calligraphy and is full of ingenuity,and most of the handwriting of the great calligraphers of all dynasties is in the form of ruled documents.The author completes the "Dream by Lang Hua" series based on the study of Wang Duo’s "Handwriting with Jiang Mengfan",analyzing the background of the creation of "Handwriting with Jiang Mengfan" in the context of the times,and analyzing its brushwork,calligraphy,and chapter style.By comparing Wang Duo’s large character cursive with Wang Duo’s small character cursive,we analyze the similarities and differences between ruled writing and large character creation,and gain a deeper insight into this post.Finally,in order to broaden the creative thinking,the "Dream by Lang Hua" series not only includes the creation of Wang Duo’s small character cursive style,but also combines the flowing sense of Wang Duo’s large character cursive writing and the strong and spontaneous writing state to improve in many aspects. |
