Chinese family drama has always had a realistic tradition of reflecting social change by family changes.This tradition is closely related to the concept of "integration of family and country" in Chinese traditional culture,and closely related to the sense of responsibility and subject of Chinese TV drama producers.In the past 60 years,family drama not only plays an important role,but also creates a realistic mirror image of Chinese family and society in every historical stage.With the vigorous development of popular culture,commercial logic has begun to dominate cultural production,realism has been gradually neglected in the creation,and the tradition of realism of family drama has also been affected.In the context of the era of entertainment replacing culture,catering to transcendent guidance,and pleasure replacing aesthetic feeling,reality no longer exists as a trend,aesthetics or creative way,but as a paradigm dominates the creation trend and meaning pursuit of Chinese family drama.Based on the relevant research of Professor Wang Yichuan,Taking the year 2000 as the dividing point for the development of Chinese cultural industry,this paper analyzes the realism paradigm of Chinese family drama after 2000,and puts forward three realism paradigms of Chinese family drama: classical realism paradigm,poetic realism paradigm and romantic realism paradigm and the characteristics of these three paradigms are described in detail.By analyzing the realism paradigm of representative family drama from1958 to 2020,we find that the emergence of romantic realism paradigm is the most typical change of realism paradigm of Chinese family drama in the new century.This paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics and aesthetic significance of this transformation.It further points out that the realistic paradigm transformation of Chinese family drama has some problems,such as regarding the body as the aesthetic object and the object of desire,the pleasure satisfaction stays at the sensory level,and the light comedy style deviates from the comic spirit of classical aesthetics.In order to solve the dilemma of family drama development,the creation of Chinese family drama should adhere to the spirit of realism,ensure the guiding function of socialist mass culture,focus on the life and survival of contemporary farmers and citizens,do not give up the transcendence and promotion of the soul,and carry out reform from the law,personnel,capital and other dimensions.Only in this way can family drama make its due contribution to the construction of socialist TV culture.
