A Comparative Analysis Of Chinese And Thai Idioms On Diet And Classroom Teaching Design

Diet idioms refer to idioms related to the way of eating,the state of eating,and various foods.This article takes Chinese and Thai food idioms as the analysis object,mainly researches the semantic and cultural connotation contained in Chinese and Thai idioms,and designs classroom teaching of Chinese idioms as a foreign language.Firstly,it discusses the definition of idioms in Chinese and Thai languages.Secondly,the semantics of Chinese and Thai food idioms are compared,and the relationship between the literal meaning and actual meaning of Chinese and Thai food idioms and the relationship between vehicle and metaphor are analyzed.Thirdly,it discusses the cultural connotation of China and Thailand reflected in Chinese and Thai food idioms.Finally,the classroom teaching design of Chinese idioms as a foreign language is carried out,and the relevant knowledge points are appropriately supplemented.Our aim through the comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai dietary idioms and the classroom teaching cases of foreign Chinese idioms,is to help Chinese learners to have a deeper understanding of the cultural connotations,idiom meanings and idiom characteristics of Chinese and Thai dietary idioms.And learners have a deeper understanding and mastery of the cultures of China and Thailand,promote the exchanges between the Chinese and Thai people,and enhance friendship.
