With the continuous development of Chinese politics and economy,the comprehensive national strength has been improved obviously,especially in the aspect of cultural export.Many foreigners are particularly interested in Chinese culture.In order to have a better understanding of Chinese culture,foreigners from all over the world choose to come to China to learn Chinese.Some of these foreigners will choose regular universities for systematic Chinese study,while others will choose short-term study in training institutions for Chinese as a foreign language.For students in training institutions,especially primary Chinese learners,textbooks have become the main materials they can access to Chinese,but these textbooks do not satisfy many students,who are not interested in the topics covered in the textbooks.To solve this problem,the author takes the topic in the primary Chinese teaching materials of the training institution as the research object,combining with my own teaching practice,the author investigates the topics of interest to primary Chinese learners in training institutions,so as to put forward my own suggestions on Chinese teaching and textbook compilation in training institutions.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly describes the research purpose and significance of this topic,research overview,research objects,research ideas and methods,as well as the definition of commonly used terms in this paper.The second chapter is a investigate of the teaching materials for primary Chinese learners in training institutions for Chinese as a foreign language.It mainly analyzes the topic distribution in common teaching materials from the perspective of the teaching status of training institutions,the characteristics of students and the use of teaching materials.The third chapter is a survey on the needs of elementary Chinese learners in training institutions for Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the topic list in the second chapter,a questionnaire is designed and the results of the questionnaire are analyzed.The fourth chapter is the suggestions on the topic selection of junior Chinese teaching materials in training institutions for Chinese as a foreign language,mainly from the elementary Chinese teaching materials compilation and teaching Chinese as a foreign language training institutions,put forward their own suggestions.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the main research content of the paper and expresses the desire for further research.
