Social Stratification Towards Post-Humanism

In the history of human development,breaking through our own limitations has always been an eternal pursuit.The direction of this human endeavor has slowly brought us into the post-humanist trend of thought.With the development of a new technology field formed by the combined effects of major cutting-edge technologies such as nanotechnology,biomedical technology,information technology,and cognitive technology,the development of convergent technology has gradually shifted the object of scientific and technological development from the living space of human beings to human beings,and post-human Society has quietly approached.Traditional social stratification theory focuses on the current society and lacks the emphasis on technology.Based on this,this article focuses on the various possibilities of post-human social stratification in cyberpunk movies from the perspective of technology,and stratification with traditional society.Make a comparison and answer the question of whether the post-human social stratification is the structural transformation of the actual social stratification or the structural reproduction.First of all,this article analyzes the five cyberpunk films and television works of " Alita: Battle Angel","Altered Carbon ","Surrogates ","Upload " and "Ready Player One ",according to the different levels of technology possessed by different groups of people,the post-human society "embodies" cyberspace and the "dissociative" cyberspace problems in the post-human society are described in the social stratification performance.Secondly,compared with the real social stratification,post-human social stratification is the social stratification caused by technology intervention in the human body,and the influence paths of technology in the two social stratifications are different.In post-human society,technology directly intervenes As far as the human body is concerned,social stratification is affected by physical changes.The difference in the body leads to different social status.The occupation of technology in the real society is represented by occupation,which affects the individual’s social status through income,prestige and power.In the post-human society,social inequality will further intensify.Finally,this article believes that the post-human social stratification is characterized by structural reproduction.The original hierarchical structure in the real society has been extended to the post-human society to a large extent,but there is still the possibility of class decline and class rise.
