| With the rapid development of digital cinema,the defects of traditional projection technology are becoming more and more obvious.LED screens have begun to be used in the new generation of cinema systems in the display industry,with its successful applications in high-resolution display,HDR display,3D display and other high-end fields.This article focuses on the research of the control system part of the LED cinema system.During the research process,it was discovered that two key issues need to be solved: One is that there is currently no commercial LED cinema control system on the market except for Samsung.How to design a hardware system to enable it to communicate with the cinema server;the second is the physical characteristic of the LED screen,which cause LED screen difficult to meet the DCI-P3 standard without optimization.Based on the above two issues,the article designs a set of LED cinema control system that can meet the needs.In terms of hardware,according to the demand indicators,taking the sending card as the research core of the hardware system,and on this basis,the chip selection and hardware principle design of other modules have been completed.Besides,system’s power supply and signal are deal with noise reduction.On the software side,a solution for the screen display optimization algorithm is proposed,and in order to facilitate the later test,the PC test software based on the Npcap library is designed and implemented.Besides,the relevant protocols for the communication between the host computer and the sending card are designed and specified.Finally,the overall function of the control system is verified.The verification process is divided into two steps.The first step is the functional verification of the hardware system,which verifies the functions of the system from the perspectives of the Physical layer and the application layer.The second step is to verify the screen optimization algorithm.By collecting the original color gamut of the screen and the corrected color gamut after enabling the screen display optimization algorithm,an intuitive comparison is made,and analyze the data collected in the process to verify whether the screen display effect can meet the requirements of DCI-P3.The system designed in this article can successfully communicate with the server and play media streams,and the overall display effect also meets the requirements of DCI-P3.At the end of the article,it summarizes the system and analyzes the shortcomings of the current system,and points out the improvement direction of subsequent system iterations. |
