In the 1990s,more than 400 Buddhist statues were unearthed at the Longxing Temple Pit Site in Qingzhou.The abundance,variety,and quality of the carvings are impressive.Among them,the achievements of the Buddhist statues in the Northern Qi Dynasty are most outstanding.This article is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which discusses the research background,purpose and significance of the topic selected in this article,the current status of research at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,as well as the focus,difficulty and innovation of research;The first chapter discusses the background and development of the Buddhist statues at Longxing Temple in Qingzhou.The text introduces and analyzes the Buddhist statues in the Northern Qi Dynasty;The second chapter discusses the sculptural characteristics of the Buddha statue in Longxing Temple in Qingzhou during the Northern Qi Dynasty.On the one hand,it discusses the most intuitive overall modeling features of the Buddha statue.On the other hand,the detailed modeling features of each part of the Buddha statue are discussed in detail,including their looks,manners,clothing,headwear and hair style;The third chapter discusses the aesthetic implication of the Buddha statue of Longxing Temple in Qingzhou during the Northern Qi Dynasty.This chapter deals with three aspects:First,it outlines the aesthetic style of heavy charm and beautiful appearance during the Northern Qi Dynasty,and clarifies that the emergence of the unique modeling features of the Buddha statue is the result of conscious pursuit of this aesthetic style.Second,starting from the stylization of Buddhist art,it is pointed out that the shape of the Buddha statue is a breakthrough from the stylization of early statues.Then,in order to avoid falling into a new stylized vortex,the Buddha statue pursued artistic personality in all aspects of modeling.Thirdly,by discussing the clothing lines that do not occupy a dominant position in the Buddha statue,but also the study of the rhythmic beauty of the lines;The fourth chapter discusses the influence of the Buddha statue in Qingzhou Longxing Temple during the Northern Qi Dynasty.On the one hand,through the analysis of the shape of the seated Buddha statue in Sui Dynasty and the statue of Tuoshan Grottoes in Sui Dynasty,it is pointed out that the shapes of both are influenced by the shape of the Buddha statue.On the other hand,it points out that the Buddha statue has played a positive role in promoting the study of plastic arts today;The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the overall appearance and research value of the Buddha statue in terms of modeling characteristics and aesthetic meaning.The author believes that the shape of the Buddha statue is individual and unique,and the aesthetic meaning conveyed is also extremely artistic.They reflect the art of that era in an intuitive way of existence,and have a positive significance for promoting the development of Buddhist statue art and the study of plastic art today.They stand proudly and endure,and have deeply imprinted the culture of Qingzhou.
