Since the end of 2019,COVID-19 has spread across the world within only a few months.The process of globalization has been seriously blocked,and the business of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages was tested.The face-to-face communication has been reduced,but it’s increasing on the internet.Foreigners are able to learn Chinese without coming to China by themselves.Therefore,the internet catchwords,which are popular in China,have successfully found its place in Chinese teaching.Although Internet catchwords seems to be something origin from Internet,the emotions and attitudes they convey come from people’s experience of real life.Through the research on the development of internet catchwords and micro class,the author found that they share the same feature of being concise both in format and content.So they may probably be combined.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter describes the source of the topic,research ideas and methods,as well as alt of related research.In order to provide guidance for the following teaching analysis and design,the second chapter systematically studies and summarizes the connotation,characteristic and classification of internet catchwords,and analyzes the features of micro courses according to the previous research.The third chapter analyzes the learning intention of high-level Chinese learners.It analyzes the survey results to confirm whether the learners have the needs and willingness to learn Chinese internet catchwords,and evaluates whether the micro class is accepted by most people.The fourth chapter is the design and analysis of internet catchwords micro class for advanced Chinese learners,which is also the core chapter of this paper.The chapter analyzes why Internet catchwords should be taught.And on the basis of the principles of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the internet catchwords in Chinese teaching should be away from vulgar,common,culture-related,and representative.The essay also put forward three teaching concepts:to capture with "interest",quoting from anything else,and combining "real items" with "unrealistic items".The author has also show ideas of designing an internet catchwords micro courses for high-level Chinese learners,and show one case as an example.Two teachers interact with each other during the class,and emoji are used to teach.There are other creative ideas adopted as well.In the final chapter,the author summarizes the methodology of micro class design of online catchwords teaching,with a view to using online catchwords as auxiliary teaching resources to attract more attention and acceptance,so as to make full use of non-standard language resources,and provide fresh ideas and innovation for the future development of micro class.
