Collation And Research On Oracle Bone Hunting Tools And Methods Characters

Field hunting is an important part of social life in Shang and Zhou dynasties,and it is also one of the important contents of oracle bone inscriptions.When businessmen carry out field hunting activities,it is bound to involve the selection of hunting tools and hunting methods.There are many records in the oracle.In the form of characters,this is also the starting point of this paper to study the oracle bone inscriptions hunting tools and methods.The main body of the paper is divided into two parts:the collation and research of field hunting tool characters and the collation and research of field hunting mode characters.In the collation and research part of field hunting tool characters,we selected field hunting tool class characters with rich glyph meaning,for example net、（?）、（?）.In addition to studying their rich connotations,we also sorted out and studied the multi-characters of the character in which the field hunting method participated in the formation.The single-character "net" glyph has a strong ability to form characters,and the intersecting lines in its structure should be pictograms of mesh woven fabrics.Among the multi-character glyphs composed of "net",the"net+animal" character is the most It can reflect its function as a field hunting tool,but most of these characters have disappeared with the evolution of characters,and most of the remaining ones exist as variant characters of standard characters;the single-body "（?）" glyph is the possibility of a pictogram of a field hunting tool It is relatively large,but there is no physical comparison,and there is also a lack of direct evidence in the oracle bone inscriptions such as related glyphs and examples of words.There is still no convincing explanation for the frame or circle structure in the glyph;"（?）" is a kind of field hunting tool,the "X" shape in the upper part of the glyph should be a pattern pictogram of some kind of flexible woven fabric,and the short and horizontal in the middle of the glyph should be a pen that balances the glyph structure.In the collation and research part of field hunting mode characters,We divide into five parts:burning fields,setting traps,net captures,ejection and other categories.Combined with the latest research results in the academic field,we sort out the glyphs of characters of each type of field hunting methods,added some new idioms to some glyphs.I hope that through our collation and research,we can provide some references for the academic community to interpret field hunting words and study the field hunting culture of the Shang Dynasty in the future.
