A Study On The Phonology Of "Re-ordered Lei Zi Meng Qiu"

The rewritten "Lei Zi Meng Qiu",which was written around 1815,is modeled on "Erya".It has a total of 26 categories.Each category lists related words,and some uncommon words are interpreted and phoneticized.The phonetic method is mainly used.It is the straight-sound method and the new four-tone method.Occasionally,the situation of a word with multiple sounds is also indicated in the phonetic or interpretation.On the basis of the previous researches of Shixian,this paper collects all the phonetic materials in "Re-ordered Lei Zi Meng Qiu",analyzes them,sorts out the phonology represented by them,and compares them with the modern Nanchang phonetic system,identified as the Nanchang dialect phonology,from which we can see the diachronic evolution of Nanchang dialect in the past two hundred years.
