| The Construction Plan of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle,issued by the CPC Central Committee and The State Council on October20,2021,emphasizes the unique and important strategic position of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle.However,due to the special geographical conditions,large differences in regional economic level and the inconsistency of administrative divisions,problems such as industrial homogenization,"central collapse" and lack of secondary center appear in this area.Therefore,it is an important basis to accurately evaluate the internal connection between various districts and counties in the economic circle and analyze the spatial and temporal evolution regulations of regional connection to determine the future development direction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle..Based on this,132 counties in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle are selected as the research objects this paper,the gravity model,complex network analysis method,evolution trend measures are utilized to research the evolution trend of connection network from the whole perspective,the node perspective,and three scales of internal connection of network such as "the whole network","the corridor" "inter-provincial contact network" and " the dual-core " provinces（municipalities directly under the central government）contact network.Based on the situation of districts and counties such as the positions in the connection of network,and their self-comprehensive qualities and the development trends,the growth pole,interprovincial connection hinge and corridor in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle are identified.The individual suggestions of each area are given by means of the complex network software.The main research results and conclusions are as follows:（1）Conditions of connection quantity and pattern: From 2005 to 2019,the total number of connections between districts and counties increased significantly,the number and proportion of first-level connections increased significantly,the proportion of the number of five-level connection decreased.The advanced connection in Sichuan is carried out by Chengdu metropolitan area and the urban dense area in southern Sichuan gradually along the Chengde-Mianyang-Leshan Economic Belt;Although there are a large number of second-level and third-level connections between Sichuan and Chongqing,there is still a lack of high-quality first-level connections.（2）Overall feature evolution of the connection network: The network density and network accessibility of the whole network have been significantly improved,but the connection strength between districts and counties still varies greatly.Although the hierarchical downward trend of the network is obvious,but the hierarchical structure between districts and counties is still clear;The connection within "dual-core" provinces（municipalities directly under the Central Government）belong to the same core-edge network,and the network density has increased by different ranges,and the characteristics of the "Six Degrees of Separation" are gradually obvious.The hierarchy and matching of the contact network in Chongqing are relatively stable,but lower than that in Sichuan.The inter-provincial "corridor" network has always been a resilient network for 15 years,with a density increase of nearly 91% and the overall accessibility of the network.（3）Feature evolution of contact network nodes: During the research period,the weighting degree of whole network increased overall and had positive sustainability,and the trend gradually decreased from inside to out in space;The clo Seness centrality basically shows continuous growth,and the districts and counties at the edge of the economic circle show a slight downward trend.The high value spreads from the main urban area of Chengdu and its surrounding districts and counties to the Chengdu Plain economic zone.The betweenness centrality decline trend and rising trend coexist,the circle structure is more obvious,always pre Sents the main urban area of Chengdu and Chongqing.The "dual-core" network consists of two parts: contact network in Sichuan province and contact network in Chongqing city.The weighting degree in most districts and counties in the network has increased to varying degrees,The circle structure of network weighting degree in Sichuan province is becoming more complete,and the network weighting degree in Chongqing is gradually consistent with the urban planning of "One circle and two wings";From the perspective of clo Seness centrality,the high value of the two networks is a circle structure gradually spreading outward from the main urban area,The southern Sichuan area will maintain the upward trend,the Chengdu plain area will continue to decline,Chongqing city except for Liangping,Zhongxian are showing a continuous growth trend;From the perspective of intermediary center degree,Sichuan province has an obvious growth trend from inside to outside,and its stability decreases,But the high value has always appeared in the main urban area of Chengdu,the north of Chongqing continues to decline,the south continues to grow,The high value evolved from the strip distribution along the northeast Chongqing to the concentrated distribution around the main urban area,Nanchuan district and Fuling District.The "corridor" network studies interprovincial connections between Sichuan and Chongqing.weighting degree of overall steady growth,Chongqing’s growth rate is significantly higher than that of Sichuan Province,the high value of the two places are always concentrated in the two main urban areas and the border area of Sichuan and Chongqing;The clo Seness centrality is generally on the rise,only the main urban area of Chengdu decreased slightly,the high value distribution in Sichuan province spread from broken to fragmented,and the part of Chongqing spread from the main urban area of Chongqing to western Chongqing and northeast Chongqing;From the perspective of the intermediary center degree,the Chengdu-Chongqing junction and Chengdu urban agglomeration showed a downward trend,The marginal districts and counties in Chongqing have a potential growth trend,The high value of Sichuan Province spreads from the main urban area of Chengdu and the Sichuan-Chongqing border zone to the whole southern Sichuan region and the Chengdu Plain urban agglomeration,Chongqing’s high value has gradually spread from southwest to northeast.（4）Identification of the growth pole,interprovincial connection hinge and corridor,and zoning optimization path: Based on the identified 64 interprovincial connection hinges,18 Full-range growth poles and 15 growth poles of provinces（municipalities）.Distingustudies into Four regions: "Sichuan-Chongqing integration and balanced development area"," communication hinge and growth pole both shortage area","Sichuan-Chongqing integration growth pole shortage area",and "Sichuan-Chongqing communication growth pole cluster area".The main optimization strategies of "Sichuan-Chongqing integration and balanced development area" are pole preservation,pivot expansion and corridor connection;The main optimization strategies of "communication hinge and growth pole shortage area" are pole,pivot and corridor;The main optimization strategies of "Sichuan-Chongqing integration growth pole shortage area" are pole breeding,pivot expansion and corridor connection.The main optimization strategy of "Sichuan-Chongqing communication
