In the era of globalization and information,classroom teaching is more common from "face-to-face" to "screen-to-screen",and a large number of MOOCs(Massive Open Online Courses)for TCFL(Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language)have been launched by Chinese University’s MOOC and Confucius Institute on the Internet.It is not only a countermeasure during the epidemic period,but also a convenient,fast and low-cost teaching form of online TCFL.The teaching language of MOOC is not only the carrier of communication and thinking,but also a direct demonstration for students’ learning.Teachers’ discourse markers in MOOC is an important way to organize teaching language,help understanding discourse,mark students’ understanding of teachers’ discourse and embody teachers’ language strategies.Based on Relevance Theory,this paper studies the pragmatic functions of teachers’ discourse markers in MOOC by observed and analysis corpus.Firstly,through transcription and statistic corpus,the use of teachers’ discourse markers in MOOC of TCFL are clarified.Then,the pragmatic functions of teachers’ discourse markers in MOOC corpus are analyzed.Finally,the pragmatic features and teaching strategies of teachers’ discourse markers are discussed.By analyzing the corpus texts,we divided the teachers’ discourse markers in the MOOC of TCFL into two categories: textual functional DMs and interpersonal functional DMs.It was found that: Textual functional DMs were used more frequency than interpersonal functional DMs,among which example and ordinal sequence markers were used the most,communicative subject markers and information status markers used most in interpersonal function;In MOOC,teachers’ discourse markers could link classroom discourse,express inference meaning,mutual understanding of cognitive context and negotiation and interaction.Lastly,discourse markers have the characteristics of diversity and uniqueness of pragmatic features in massive open online course.According to the pragmatic function analysis of teachers’ discourse markers in massive open online course corpus of TCFL,we think that discourse markers can be used as teaching discourse strategies in TCFL classroom.Giving full use of positive function of discourse markers and guide students to correctly and laboriously infer the meaning of teachers’ discourse;From the perspective of teaching,discourse markers are used to achieve successful communication in classroom discourse cohesion and negotiation interaction.
