A Study Of Two Songs With The Same Word "Farewell To The God Of Plague-Two Lu Shi Poems"

Mao Zedong(1893-1976)was not only a great statesman,theorist and strategist,but also a master of poetry with unparalleled talent.He created more than one hundred excellent poetry works in his lifetime.These works,cleverly conceived and deeply implied,not only have strong realistic concern,but also contain the spirit of romanticism.They are artistic reproductions of the arduous process of Chinese revolution and construction,which have influenced and edified generations of Chinese people.Because of this,for more than half a century,artists have created a large number of different styles of art based on Mao Zedong’s poems,including pingtan,opera,solo and chorus.In these solo and choral works,there are usually many composers for the same song,so the same words and different songs of Mao Zedong’s poems have become a common creation phenomenon.This dissertation attempts to study the two songs with the same word in”Farewell to the God of Plague—two lu shi poems” of Mao Zedong poetry,selecting the two composers written respectively by Li Jiefu and Wang Zhixin.As the research object,discussed is divided into three chapters: the first chapter from the perspective of literature,Chinese phonology,lyrics,based on the characteristics of the two songs "with the word ",analysis the content of the word,thought connotation,and the cause of being used as the lyrics into the music,to explore the literariness of the word itself and musicality;The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the music score,the first achievement of the two songs,and summarizes the generality and individuality of their music creation,which provides reference for the songwriters.The third chapter is based on the second creation of the two songs--the perspective of vocal singing.By analyzing the classic singing versions of the two songs and combining with my own stage performance practice,it summarizes how to better perform the two songs and bring a higher aesthetic experience to the audience.It is of practical significance to understand Mao Zedong’s poetry,identify the artistic personality of the two songs,create better musical works,give the audience a higher aesthetic experience,spread the anti-epidemic spirit,and inspire people’s hearts.
