Ode to the poor is one of the types of poetry in the Wei-Jin and Six Dynasties.The“poor”in the poem not only refer to the poverty in economy,but also possess rich spirits,such as the self-requirement of the moral realm in the poverty situation.with the situation of poverty,the poems show the individual independent spirit and moral pride,or inspire sighs of difficulties and fate in reality and make a sound of injustice.The scope of the study of “Ode to the poor” in this article generally includes poems with the clear title of Ode to the poor or with the characters of the“Poor”,and also includes the poems with the theme of“Poor”or “the poor” with poor people,events,and images as objects to express feelings,opinions,or personal aspirations.The ideological orientation of Ode to the poor written by scholars in the Wei,Jin and Six Dynasties has obvious characteristics of the times and rich connotations.Specifically,it includes: first,the description and chanting of the poor and miserable life of the poor;second,the recognition of the spirit of the poor and the choice of different personal paths such as peace and happiness,long-term disasters,and obedience to nature;third,the multiple reflections on the rare encounter between the poor and the official career.In terms of artistic creation,Ode to the poor in the Wei-Jin and Six Dynasties also formed a unique artistic form,which not only inherited but also innovated Yuefu poems by using the artistic techniques of multiple contrast in structure,and even appeared a form of poetry chanting the poor.The image group is composed of the image of the poor’s life and the poor themselves.In addition,the multi-purpose narrative gives traditional stories new and unique meanings,and presents the characteristics of the times and personalization.On the whole,as a unique type of poetry,Ode to the poor in the Wei,Jin and Six Dynasties also has unique significance in the history of poetry development such as the enrichment of traditional poetry themes,the concentrated observation and expression of the groups and images of the poor,the choice of the provenance of scholars and the in-depth thinking and expression of the personal experience of the rare encounter between the poor and the official career.From this process,it can be seen that the mentality of scholars has changed,from the exclusion of the poor to the recognition of t he poor,and then becoming the recognition and practice of the era of peace and happiness and obedience to nature.It is not only the response of the scholars to the social and political changes of the times and a collective recognition of a traditional concept of values,but also includes the struggles and contradictions of individual scholars.At the same time,the two writing paradigms of the poems chanting the poor in the Wei Jin and Six dynasties also had a significant impact on the creation of the poets chanting for the poor in later generations,and continuously aroused the imitation and innovation of later generations.
