With the rapid development of the Internet and information technology in recent years,great changes have taken place in the teaching mode.The SPOC online and offline hybrid teaching mode is widely used to assist and promote the innovative development of the traditional teaching mode.How can this teaching mode be intermingled with the traditional mode,so as to serve the teaching more effectively and improve the teaching efficiency?Therefore,the statistical measurement of its effectiveness has a very important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the relevant theories of statistics,from the point of view of the teaching effectiveness of the SPOC mode,combined with the actual situation of the course "Cross-Border E-commerce English",this thesis designs an effective index system and probes into the statistical measurement of the teaching effectiveness of the SPOC mode by using the methods of multi-factor analysis of variance,chi-square test,binary Logistic regression model and structural equation model.This thesis attempts to provide some reference for the reform of the teaching methods.In the process of selecting statistical measurement indicators,through literature review and classification overview,this thesis selects the technical indicators in the SPOC mode from three aspects: learning attitude,learning ability and practical ability,that is,the influencing factors,and selects 794 students from three different majors of this course as the total samples,and selects the actual teaching activity data of these students on the Chaoxing platform.This thesis comprehensively analyzes the influence and promotion of the SPOC mode on students’ learning and integrates all the data,and finally obtains 10 statistical indicators,which are viewing time of audio and video,check-in,chapter learning times,assignments,group tasks,interaction in class,discussion,reading,chapter tests,and final exams.Through research,analysis and demonstration,this thesis defines the teaching indicators of the teaching effectiveness of the SPOC mode,and enriches the relevant theoretical research on the statistical measurement of this model.According to the statistical theory,by reading a large number of materials about the teaching effectiveness of the SPOC mode,as well as the relevant materials on statistical measurement,and drawing lessons from the previous research experience,this thesis tries to synthesize and expand the evaluation indicators to reveal the influence of different indicators on the effectiveness of the SPOC mode.In addition to the Logistic regression model,multi-factor analysis of variance,chi-square test and structural equation model are used in this thesis.The Logistic regression model is used to measure the effectiveness of the teaching model,which enriches and develops the predictability of the model.At the same time,the thesis carries on the path analysis to the effectiveness of the SPOC mode,and makes a quantitative analysis of the interaction between the indicators to measure the effectiveness of the SPOC mode,in order to improve the satisfaction degree of the use of the SPOC mode in the future curriculum and make full use of the effectiveness of the SPOC mode.According to the Logistic regression model,this thesis makes a theoretical discussion and empirical analysis on the effectiveness of the SPOC mode by using statistical measure theory.Using the 10 extracted teaching indexes,this thesis constructs a binary Logistic regression analysis model about the teaching effectiveness of the SPOC mode,and reasonably evaluates that the effectiveness of this mode is more than 98%.In this thesis,the related process of the model construction is described in detail.By combining with the use of the multi-factor analysis of variance and chi-square test,the results show that the model has good predictability and enriches and develops the application of the Logistic regression model in the field of education and teaching.The structural equation model is used to empirically verify the situation of multiple dependent variables,which ensures the effectiveness of the SPOC mode is more systematic.The study found that among the 10 statistical indicators,viewing time of audio and video,chapter learning times,assignments,interaction in class,discussion,reading,and chapter tests have a significant reflection on the effectiveness of the SPOC mode,and the other three indicators of check-in,group tasks and final exams have no statistical significance.But in order to improve students’ autonomous learning ability,teachers also need to draw attention to these three indicators.Moreover,after the empirical analysis of the effectiveness of the SPOC mode,this thesis provides useful suggestions for the future development of the SPOC mode,which makes the effectiveness of this mode more practical significance.The research in this thesis has a certain guiding significance for academic discussion and practical work.At the same time,it must be recognized that there are still some areas that need to be improved:1.There are some problems,such as the instability of sample size and the influence of subjective factors of sample size,which should be paid attention to.2.The data of this thesis comes from the Chaoxing platform,which belongs to the previous data,so the deviation should be taken into account when analyzing the results of the study.3.Make full use of the network teaching resources,enrich learning resources,and ensure the long-term effectiveness of the SPOC mode.4.According to the characteristics of different subjects,adjust the specific indicators of the effectiveness of the SPOC mode.5.In defining the indicators of the effectiveness of the SPOC mode,an in-depth study of the index path can provide reference value and future development space for the statistical measurement of the effectiveness of this mode.Through this thesis,it is found that the SPOC mode can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning,internalize knowledge and ability,and play a great role in assisting and promoting the traditional teaching mode,The research verifies the statistical measurement of the effectiveness of SPOC mode in teaching practice.
