Research On The Vocal Performance Of The Role Of "San Xiangu" In “Xiao Erhei Jie Hun”

The classic National Opera Xiao Erhei jie hun was written in 1952.The work,adapted from Zhao Shuli’s novel of the same name by the Opera Department of Central Academy of drama,which was written by Tian Chuan and Yang Lanchun.And it was composed by Marco,Qiao Gu,He Fei and Zhang Peiheng.Several decades have passed since the creation of the opera " Xiao Erhei jie hun ".There still be a repertoire of the opera by the troupe to reinterpret such a classic work every few years.Xiaoqin’s mother named San X’iangu has distinctive image characteristics and artistic characteristics,which plays a very important role in the end of the play.The author watched several versions of Xiao Erhei jie hun repeatedly and played the role of "San X’iangu" in the Graduation Concert.This paper takes the role of "San X’iangu" as the research object,and it analyzes and discusses the music structure,singing and performance skills of San X’iangu’s classical aria combined with the practice of the concert.
