| The freehand landscape "Clean Rhyme of Xiangxi" is based on the mysterious and beautiful scenes of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province as the painting material,and the panoramic scroll style is used on the basis of the pursuit of ancient meaning,vitality and nature.Efforts to integrate the traditional pen and ink into the contemporary creative consciousness,and then express the creator’s extension of the feelings of the hometown.This creation report focuses on ancient meaning,spirit and rhyme,and pen and ink language.Adhere to a rigorous academic attitude and actively explore.Organize and create a large amount of materials collected from the field sketches,and strive to solve the practical problems encountered in the creation.The focus of this creation report is to start from the experience of ancient people’s pen and ink exploration and the vividness of the pictures,close to the reality,and conduct a down-to-earth study of the ancient people’s spiritual perception of the landscape.While working to find the spiritual essence and source of Chinese landscape painting,combined with the traditional paintings of the ancients,he explores the brush and ink of modern and contemporary painting,and then explores more possibilities of landscape painting.Huang Binhong once pointed out:“Sketch can only get the bones of the mountains and rivers.If you want to get the breath of the mountains and rivers,you have to close your eyes and meditate.You must appreciate the spirit.”For this reason,the report on the creation of landscape paintings in the "Clean Rhyme of Xiangxi" follows the emphasis on Sketching from nature in nature is the best way to explore pen and ink language,and it also helps us understand the landscape works we copied before.The reason why the creator took the scene of his hometown of Xiangxi is because the wonderland of Xiangxi contains peculiar mountains,beautiful waters,profound traditional historical and cultural heritage,and rich levels of connotation.This creation report is divided into two parts.The first part elaborates on the ancient meaning,spirit and the main purpose of establishing one’s own creative thoughts in contemporary landscape painting.Including theoretical discussion of creative methods,field investigation of Xiangxi,cultural and historical overview of Xiangxi,thinking on the level of philosophy and aesthetics.The second part is the specific creative process,which reflects in detail the thinking and practice in the creative process,and records the exploration process of the relationship between pen and ink.Through my own understanding of ancient pen and ink,I try to incorporate some contemporary pen and ink exploration and forms. |
