With the deepening and accelerating of the socialist reform and opening up with Chinese characteristics,as well as the continuous prosperity and development of politics,economy,society and culture,the social and cultural quality of the people has gradually been greatly improved.On the solid material basis,the people of all ethnic groups have an increasingly strong demand for spiritual and cultural development.Square dance is a large-scale mass fitness activity.It is carried out freely in a wide activity field.Through various forms of sports and fitness exercises,such as aerobics and dance,combined with various sports and fitness movements,such as bare hands or light weight fitness equipment,combined with the beautiful accompaniment of music,the square dance is a kind of mass fitness activity.Developed out of a good physical fitness effect and rich aesthetic appreciation of the appeal of physical fitness projects.Square dance is not only suitable for self-fitness,but also suitable for collective learning,training or performance.Therefore,square dance plays a very important role in the nationwide fitness campaign in all parts of China.This paper adopts research methods such as literature review,video analysis,expert interview and logical analysis,and takes the artistic layout scoring factors of the top eight teams in the optional routine of China Square Dance Competition in2019 as the research object to conduct a comprehensive analysis and research,so as to provide theoretical reference for the artistic layout of the optional routine project of square dance.It provides reference for coaches to improve the score of square dance routine art arrangement.Through the research,the conclusions are as follows:1.Most of the square dance music sets in this competition are pop music and folk music;The music of each team is mainly edited music;Action modeling and music are highly integrated.2.Starting from the purpose of square dance competition,the rhythm of square dance music is mostly medium and fast.The selection of the rhythm of complete sets of music should be reasonably selected according to the actual situation of the performing object and the purpose of the performance,etc.3.The competition square dance in the complete set of formation change type is rich,every team has a linear array of formation,graphics,formation and composite formation,including graphics team formation of geometric pattern formation is easy to shape so most used,more strict with the number of letters formation,shape small highlight out letters,so the letter formation at least.4.There are abundant changes in the complete formation of each competition.The proportion of mobile formation in the complete formation is less,while the proportion of fixed formation in the complete formation is more.In terms of site utilization,there is more area E,and the four areas A,B,C and D are moderate.On the whole,the site utilization is reasonable.5.Most of the teams chose more ethnic costumes because they chose more ethnic music styles;Most teams prefer to choose bright colors for their costumes,which can better highlight the performance effect.Advice:1.With the further development and changes of China Square Dance Competition,creators and coaches need to constantly strengthen their own learning,seriously study the scoring rules,strengthen artistic cultivation and aesthetic awareness,and improve the ability of artistic creation and compilation.2.In the formation arrangement,not only attention should be paid to whether the formation layout is reasonable,but also bold innovation should be made to improve the use of different space,design the number of formation reasonably,and cleverly use the change of the shape of the team pattern and the alternating connection between the team pattern to increase the number of flowing formation with strong artistic quality.3.Due to the particularity of square dance performance,LED background and environment should also be considered in the choice of clothing.4.Conduct regular lectures on the selection and use of square dance music to strengthen the training of music editing ability.
