The Study And Arrangement Of Pictophonetic Characters In The Zou Ma Lou Wu Bamboo And Wood Slips(No.7)

The material of this paper is The Zou ma lou Wu bamboo and wood slips(No.7),which was sorted and rearranged by Changsha bamboo and wood slips Museum,Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage,Department of History of Peking University,and Institute of Ancient literature of the Palace Museum and published by Cultural Relics Press in 2013.We mainly researched pictophonetic characters of the materials.The study consists of text and appendix.The text is divided into five chapters.Chapter Ⅰ,Introduction.Firstly,This chapter introduced the unearthed situation and content and the value of academic work of The Zou ma lou Wu bamboo and wood slips(No.7).Secondly,we introduced the research idea and methods,revealed research significance.Finally,we explained the standard of pictophonetic characters and the shape-symbols and rhyme-symbols in The Zou ma lou Wu bamboo and wood slips(No.7)Chapter Ⅱ,the general situation of pictophonetic characters.we targeted 585 pictophonetic characters and divided them into ordinary and special forms.we also listed the variation of Pictophonetic characters and analyzed the reason why they changed.Chapter Ⅲ,the research on the shape descriptor of Pictophonetic characters.In this part,we counted the number,word frequency and location of the shape component,and summarized it to different forms.Finally,we analyzed and described the internal relationship about the shape-symbols and the reason why some shape components has different writing forms.Chapter Ⅳ,the research about the rhyme-symbols of Pictophonetic characters.we also counted the number,word frequency and location of the rhyme component and formed the result.In the same time,we compared the result with the shape-symbols’ and revealed the configurable inclination of Pictophonetic characters.Last,we analyzed and described the derivation of phonetic element and the reason why some rhyme-symbols has different writing forms.Chapter Ⅴ,the constructing classification and structure from Pictophonetic characters.In this chapter,we described the basic components and direct components in Pictophonetic characters.we analyzed how the Pictophonetic characters combined.Through our analysis,we can know the tightness of the combination.Appendix consists of three parts.The first appendix is a general table recording Pictophonetic characters,The second appendix is a new table to show the basic and direct components Pictophonetic characters,and the last appendix is an emendation about the whole characters of The Zou ma lou Wu bamboo and wood slips(No.7).This dissertation fully researched pictophonetic characters of The Zou ma lou Wu bamboo and wood slips(No.7)in the first time.It is not only meaningful to research the characters of Wu dynasty of the Three Kingdom,but also useful to research the development and optimization of Chinese characters.
