A Study On The Narrative Strategy Of The Plague Movies Infectious Disease And Influenza With The Combination Of Practical Work Masks

As a sub type of disaster movies,the plague movies arouse people’s most primitive fear of infectious diseases and death because of their strong connections to reality.After studying as well as watching plague movies the author made deep analysis of two typical works‘infectious disease’and‘influenza ’chosen from the plague movies.Through the research,the main point of this thesis is obtained based on realistic social background: Through the narrative creation of ecological disasters,we can trigger the broad value recognition of audiences from different cultural groups so as to achieve a balance between drama and reality and make mankind develop in harmony with both nature and cociety The specific research is divided into four parts.The first part mainly briefly describes the two works of ‘infectious diseases’ and‘influenza’.The second part analyzes and studies the two films from the aspects of narrative structure,narrative rhythm and lens language,and summarizes the narrative strategies.The third part is theauthor’s practical creation ‘Masks’ in which the narrative strategy is referred and applied.The fourth part is about the author’s thinking on practical importance of plague movies Under the background of the outbreak of New Coronavirus in 2020,the micro film practical work "Masks" combined theoretical text research with practical creation so as to deepen the understanding of the narrative strategies of such works.
