| Non-interrogative usage of interrogative pronouns is a popular research topics in recent years.Most languages in the world have a common feature,that is,there are many types of non-interrogative usages,especially exclamation usages,which the usage conditions are slightly more complicated than others but the using-frequency is higher.Additionally,as two important categories in linguistics,interrogation and exclamation are closely related.However,the research of this relationship in linguistics is rarely.Therefore,this dissertation,which based on the guidance of linguistic typology,makes a systematic study on the exclamatory usage of Uyghur interrogative pronouns.The paper contains five chapters,the first chapter is the introduction of the article topics and the simply explanation of related content.The second chapter discusses the relevance of interrogative pronouns and exclamatory pronouns in syntactic form,and based on a variety of language samples,this paper explore the universality of exclamatory pronouns from the perspective of linguistic typology.The third chapter summarizes the common basic structures and syntactic distribution of interrogative usages of Uyghur interrogative pronouns.The fourth chapter explores the superficial and deep meanings of Uyghur interrogative pronoun exclamations from the perspectives of semantics and pragmatics,and holds that the semantic basis of the exclamation usage of Uyghur interrogative pronouns is “unexpected”,and its pragmatic expression is “negative”.The fifth chapter explains the cognitive factors of Uyghur interrogative pronoun exclamation usage by demonstrating the cognitive connection between question and exclamation,and points out that the role of metonymy mechanism and the enhancement of subjectivity are the key factors.After all,the full text is summarized to find out the deficiencies in this paper,and strive to have a deeper understanding of the exclamation usage of Uyghur interrogative pronouns,then provide a reference for the subsequent research on the non-interrogative usage of interrogative pronouns. |
