Study On The Influence Of Cheng Hao’s Neo-confucianism Thought On Meticulous Flower-and-bird Painting In Song Dynasty

The meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty is a shinning pearl in the history of Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting.Reviewing the development process of meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty,we can clearly feel the spirit of the Neo-Confucianism-its picture is vivid and rigorous,but there is no lack of vivid vitality;The technique performance is exquisite and gorgeous,and it also contains the pure interest of nature.It is safe to say that the aesthetic taste of meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty reveals the clue to Mr.Cheng Hao’s thought on Neo-Confucianism.The meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty owes its great success to the influence and guidance of Mr.Cheng Hao’s Neo-Confucianism thought.Therefore,I believe that studying and feeling the beauty of the meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty through the Neo-Confucianism expressed in the meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty will be beneficial to the development of contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting.The first chapter of this paper describes the research background,significance,research status and content framework,and then discusses the main contents of Mr.Cheng Hao’s thought on Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty.In the process of sorting out and studying Mr.Cheng Hao’s thought on Neo-Confucianism,I found that his thoughts on Neo-Confucianism have made great contributions and influences to the construction and perfection of the Neo-Confucianism system and the meticulous flower-and-bird paintings in the Song Dynasty.Through the fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty,we can feel the influence of Mr.Cheng Hao’s thought on Neo-Confucianism in the selection of content and subject matter,the management of pictures and the selection of colors.Secondly,after clarifying the influence of Cheng Hao’s Neo-Confucianism on the meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty,I cast my eyes back to the modern and contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting.This paper analyzes and discusses how modern and contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting should follow and learn from traditional painting,the meticulous flower-and-bird painting and foreign painting techniques in the Song Dynasty,so as to look forward to the development prospect and characteristics of modern and contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting.In conclusion,through the analysis and research of Neo-Confucianism proposed by Mr.Cheng Hao in the Song Dynasty,this paper identifies the influence and guidance of Neo-Confucianism theory on meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty,and also outlines the characteristics and development of modern and contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting,so as to discuss the influence of Neo-Confucianism on meticulous flower-and-bird painting.I hope that through my research and discussion,I can make some contributions to the development of contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting.
