The Application Of Image Conversion In My Creative Practice

The birth of photography technology enables people to obtain image information more quickly and conveniently,image as a visual symbol,in this era of network development has an irreplaceable role,image has become the main form of multimedia communication information,it has the function of narrative and visual communication,can quickly record and disseminate information.At the same time,the emergence of photography has also changed the way some artists create,and the documentary characteristics of cameras make it more convenient for artists to collect materials,meet the needs of creation,and bring more possibilities for operating pictures.This article is divided into three chapters,the first part of the article provides a basic overview of the connotation of image conversion,and takes Jiang Yong’an’s "Portrait of the Wounded and Dead-Chinese " Comfort Women " Portrait" as an example to analyze the advantages of image conversion in contemporary ink figure painting.In the second part of the article,the specific application process of image transformation in contemporary ink figure painting is sorted out,and it is also a process for the creator to perceive and then express the image data in painting.The last part of the article explains the limitations and solutions of image conversion in the application process.Through the above research,the following conclusions are drawn: the significance of image conversion to creation mainly lies in the transformation of consciousness,the essence of creation is performance rather than reproduction,picture data is only used as a reference,the ultimate purpose is to express the subjective feelings of the creator through painting,strengthen their own feeling ability in the process of observation,and impress the audience with the feelings revealed in the works.
