| The thought of heaven and man can best reflect the characteristics of traditional Chinese philosophy. The exploration of this problem lies not only in the long history, but also in an academic topic that people are still talking about today. In the history of ancient philosophy,Liu Zong Yuan has a unique understanding of the natural and human thought. As a product of the specific cultural background of the Middle Tang Dynasty, his heavenly and human thought has its special academic value and historical influence, and is an important link in the history of Chinese philosophy.Liu Zongyuan’s thought of heaven and man is not only related to the concept of nature and cosmology, but also directly related to many aspects of human nature and history. Therefore,Liu Zongyuan built a huge ideological system based on his view of heaven and man.Because of this,it is undoubtedly of important academic value and certain practical significance to develop the study of Liu Zongyuan’s thought from the perspective of heaven and man. This paper uses the research methods of historical, logical, comparative and literature analysis to explore the academic value of Liu Zongyuan in the development of heaven and man,and then analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of Liu Zongyuan. This article mainly includes the following three parts. The first part mainly analyzes the social and cultural background of Liu Zongyuan’s heavenly and human thoughts.First of all, explore the historical origin of heaven and human thought, summarize and analyze the understanding of several kinds of heaven and human relations before the Middle Tang Dynasty, trace back to the roots,in order to explore the ideological origin of heaven and human thought of Liu Zong Yuan.In the central Tang Dynasty, there were several points of view on the integration of man and man,the combination of virtue and the division between heaven and man.In general, the idea of the unity of man and man dominates, but it mainly focuses on the two aspects of nature and man and the induction of nature and man.It is because of this that Xunzi and Wang Chong have differences between nature "and" nature ".Obviously,Liu Zongyuan’s thought of "heaven and man are not equal" is the inheritance and development of Xunzi and Wang Chong.Secondly, under the background of the prosperity and development of Taoism and Buddhism in the Middle Tang Dynasty and the decline of Confucianism,Liu Zongyuan advocated unifying Confucianism and Buddhism, reviving Confucianism, and developed the previous ideas of heaven and man on the basis of absorption, integration and transformation.Thirdly, the ancient prose movement in the Central Tang Dynasty also had a direct role in promoting the emergence of the heavenly and human thought of Liu Zongyuan. The second part is a systematic discussion of Liu Zongyuan.Liu Zongyuan’s thought of heaven and man was not limited to the category of "heaven and man" itself, but constructed an ideological system of heaven and man based on the relationship between heaven and man. Therefore, his theory of heaven and man includes both the nature view of vitality and monism and the human nature theory of "destiny" and "nature of nature".It puts forward the people-oriented idea of following the people’s desire and hence their nature, and establishes the political view of "Li’ an Yuan Yuan".His position of "heaven and man are not predictable" also extends to the view of social history, advocating that social history development is also "automatic self-rest",with an objective and inevitable "potential" that does not depend on human will. The third part evaluates the theoretical creation, historical limitation and influence of Liu Zongyuan’s heavenly and human thought comprehensively.Liu Zongyuan put forward the "original theory of vitality" to affirm the nature of heaven, realized the difference between heaven and man, opposed the theory of destiny, and put forward the "potential" and people-oriented thought of atheism, which is progressive.Of course, there are also mechanical thinking limitations, but both from the academic and from the real social development needs of his thoughts and theories, and also have a certain influence on the future generations. |
