Analysis On The Playing Technique Of Grazunov’s Saxophone E Flat Major Concerto

Alexander grazonov is a famous Russian musician and one of the representatives of Russian national music school.As an important figure in the field of symphony,his music works have a far-reaching impact on future generations.Saxophone Concerto in E flat major is a work created by grazunov in his later years.It is a significant large-scale Concerto in classical saxophone works.Saxophone is not long in the history of Western instruments,but it occupies a place in classical music with its unique timbre.Saxophone can not only combine the timbre of woodwind and brass instruments,but also give play to the lyric color of string instruments,which provides a variety of possibilities for the player’s emotional expression.From the "hymn" ensemble created by the French composer Berlioz to the "Carnival" created by Debussy for Saxophone and orchestral music,and then to the orchestral music "picture exhibition" created by the Russian composer mosorgsky,it not only improves the status of saxophone music,but also promotes the continuous maturity of its playing skills.Saxophone Concerto in E flat major was created in 1934,which is also grazunov’s last large-scale Concerto.This work fully reflects the style of Russian national music and has the characteristics of romantic Concerto.It belongs to grazunov’s late artistic style.Based on the Saxophone Concerto in E flat major,this paper analyzes the development and evolution of saxophone,grasps the creative background of the work,analyzes the performance skills of Saxophone Concerto in E flat major,and applies the theory combed from the literature to the music works,In order to deeply understand the musical characteristics and internal significance of this musical work.
