Attentional Bias Toward The Influence Of Stimuli With Different Threat Words In Sport Competition Anxiety

Objective: Individual competition anxiety level affect their performances,previous studies have shown that excessive competition anxiety will most likely cause a severe recession of the movement execution,anxiety levels may be the sport the decisive factors in the final result.Selective attention in the formation and development of anxiety and continue to play an important role.Previous study attempts to adopt the method of attention to training athletes to relieve the anxiety state,but few studies have in-depth analysis to stimulate competition correlation as well as the threat level to pay attention to the influence of the bias,trait anxiety and competition of individual attention to process changes over time.Methods: This study choose in high and low load condition,competition trait anxiety 3（high,medium and low）× word type 3（no competition related high threat,high competition related high threat,high competition related low threat）mix design.Using the questionnaire of the pre-match emotion scale select high,medium and low three subjects competition trait anxiety,a total of 56 professional sports college students to participate in the experiment.Using point detection paradigm and eye movement technique,the combination of record of each participant’s behavior and eye movement data,collected on behavioral and eye movement data is analyzed.The results showed that:（1）In low load condition,the reaction time and its index analysis found that high competition trait anxiety individuals related to competition low threat word will produce more significant attention to avoid,and compared with the competition related to low threat word competition of high trait anxiety individual to low related to competition high threat words produce more obvious attention bias;Under the condition of high load when the reaction analysis found that different trait anxiety level competition individual attention to different word deviation does not exist significant difference.（2）Under low load condition,the eyes move related index analysis found that high and low competition trait anxiety individual for threat to high competition has nothing to do word with initial spatial attention to avoid,high and medium competition trait anxiety individual experience related to competition in high threat words on the first time attention bias;On the analysis of total fixation time bias score according to the results,word types of main effect significantly,Characterized by high threat word related to competition always looking time bias score is significantly higher than competition related low threat has nothing to do with competition high threat word;Under the condition of high load to eye movement indices analysis found that different trait anxiety level competition individual attention to different word deviation does not exist significant differences.（3）Under low load condition of total fixation time probability analysis showed that anxiety level × word type × period of third-order interaction significantly,Specific performance in the 2500-3000 ms period high trait anxiety group competition threat to competition related to low percentage of fixation time word is significantly higher than the low and medium competition trait anxiety group;Competition of high trait anxiety individuals relating to the competition in the period 2500-3000 ms low threat words had a significantly higher percentage of fixation time not competition related high threat word and high threat word;While in high load condition of total fixation time probability analysis found no significant interaction.Conclusion:（1）At low load under the condition of high,medium and low trait anxiety individuals related to competition threat attention to ingredients,is because of the change of stimulus presentation time presents the dynamic change;（2）Under low load condition,high in early processing stage,competition in the threat of high trait anxiety individuals of sport-related words to be pay attention to,and later in the competition strategy processing stages and different level of high trait anxiety individuals related to competition,keep or pay attention to avoid low threat word presented;（3）In low load condition,the level of threat can adjust the high competition anxiety individual attention to ingredients to sport-related stimulation.
