An Experimental Study On The Influence Of Latin Dance On Negative Affect And Self-efficacy Of Primary And Middle School Students | | Posted on:2022-12-02 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:K Yu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2505306749990389 | Subject:Theory and Management of Education | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:(1)To analyze the influence of 12 weeks of equal intensity Latin dance training on primary and middle school students’ negative emotion;(2)To reveal the mediating mechanism between them: the self-efficacy;(3)To compare the psychological effects of Latin dance training on middle school students and primary school students.The study will verify the psychological value of Latin dance training in alleviating negative emotions and improving self-efficacy of primary and secondary school students,and provide an economic and convenient exercise intervention program for alleviating negative emotions in primary and secondary schools.This study aims to promote the physical and mental health development of primary and secondary school students.Methods: The study selected 80 primary and secondary school students as experimental objects,including 36 middle school students and 44 primary school students were divided into experimental group and control group respectively.There were 18 middle school students in the experimental group and 18 middle school students in the control group,22 primary school students in the experimental group and 22 primary school students in the experimental group.Based on the research purpose,a 12-week Latin training course was designed.The experimental groups of primary and secondary schools took part in Latin dance training for 12 weeks at school,while the control group did not take part in Latin dance training courses.The other conditions were the same.Before and after the experiment,80 students completed The Positive and Negative Affect Scale and The General Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale.Anova and mediation analysis were used to verify the hypothesis.Results:(1)12-week Latin dance training can relieve negative affect of primary and secondary school students;(2)12-week Latin dance training can improve the self-efficacy of primary and secondary school students;(3)Self-efficacy is one of the ways to alleviate negative emotions in Latin dance;(3)Compared with middle school students,12-week Latin dance training has a stronger impact on the negative emotions and self-efficacy of primary school students;(4)Self-efficacy is one of the ways that Latin dance training affects the negative emotions of primary and secondary school students.Conclusions:(1)12-week Latin dance training can relieve negative affect of primary and secondary school students;(2)12-week Latin dance training can improve the self-efficacy of primary and secondary school students;(3)Self-efficacy is one of the ways to alleviate negative affect in Latin dance;(4)Compared with middle school students,the 12-week Latin dance training has a stronger impact on the negative affect and self-efficacy of primary school students.Suggests:(1)Primary and secondary schools should actively promote the establishment and development of Latin dance clubs;(2)Latin dance teaching process should pay attention to the age difference of teaching objects;(3)Latin dance teaching process can be combined with gamification to improve the teaching effect;(4)Latin dance teaching process should pay attention to improve the comprehensive quality of students;(5)Latin dance teaching process should pay attention to the improvement of self-efficacy of primary and secondary school students. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | latin dance, negative affect, self-efficacy, primary and middle school students, mental health | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
