In the guiding opinions on strengthening the construction and reform of College Teachers in the new era issued by the Ministry of education and other six departments,it is clearly pointed out that through a series of reform measures,the professional attraction of college teachers will be significantly enhanced,the ideological quality,professional ability,educational level and innovation ability of teachers will be significantly improved,and a high-quality professional and innovative college teacher team will be built.In the process of the construction of sports dance teachers in Colleges and universities,the construction of competency index system is conducive to optimize the management system of sports teachers,improve the comprehensive quality of teachers and stimulate the vitality of teachers.Therefore,this study takes the competency of college sports dance teachers as the research object,and uses the research methods of literature,behavior event interview,Delphi,questionnaire and mathematical statistics to compare and analyze the competency characteristics of different types of sports dance teachers in Colleges and universities in Nanjing on the basis of constructing the competency index system of college sports dance teachers,Then it provides a specific path to improve the competence of different types of sports dance teachers in Colleges and universities.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Through the Delphi method,the preliminary competency elements are screened,and finally the competency index system of college sports dance teachers is established.The first level competency includes five aspects: professional ability,professional knowledge,social role,personal motivation and ideological and political and professional code of conduct;Level II competence includes 12 elements: teaching ability,expression and performance ability,arrangement ability,professional theoretical knowledge,professional and technical knowledge,interpersonal relationship,role consciousness,innovation motivation,personal development motivation,ideological and political quality,scientific research literacy and professional code of conduct;The three-level competency includes 30 elements,including teaching design,teaching implementation,teaching evaluation,oral and physical expression,emotion and physical expression,movement combination arrangement,work arrangement,introduction to sports dance and so on.(2)There are differences in the competency characteristics of sports dance teachers in different types of colleges and universities.Among them,there are significant differences in professional ability,professional knowledge and social role between college sports dance teachers of different genders,and men are better than women;There are significant differences in professional knowledge and personal motivation among college sports dance teachers of different ages,among which teachers aged 35 and below have the highest scores in professional knowledge,motivation and competence;College sports dance teachers with different professional titles have significant differences in professional knowledge,personal motivation,ideological and political and professional quality,among which lecturers have the highest scores in professional knowledge and personal motivation competence;There are significant differences in professional knowledge,social role,ideological and political and professional quality among sports dance teachers in Colleges and universities with different teaching ages,and the teaching age of 5 years has the highest score in these three aspects;There are significant differences in professional ability,ideological and political quality among college sports dance teachers of different coach(teacher)levels.The professional competence of teachers without coach(teacher)technical level is low,and the ideological,political and professional quality of first-class coaches(teachers)is the highest;(3)Targeted strategies for improving the competence of sports dance teachers in different types of colleges and universities.For sports dance teachers in Colleges and universities of different genders,male teachers need to improve their emotional and physical expression and scientific research literacy,and female teachers need to strengthen their communication skills;For teachers of different ages,teachers aged 36 to 45 need to constantly update their professional knowledge of sports dance,while teachers under the age of 35 need to further improve their scientific research literacy;For teachers with different professional titles,teaching assistants should clarify their personal development goals,constantly update their knowledge system and improve their scientific research literacy.Lecturers should pay attention to the comprehensive development of professional ability,associate professors should strengthen their personal development motivation,and professors should strengthen communication with students;For teachers of different teaching ages,teachers with teaching age of 5years or less need to comprehensively improve their professional ability and strengthen their achievement motivation,and teachers with teaching age of 6-15 years need to constantly update their knowledge system;Strengthening communication with students is what teachers with more than 16 years of teaching experience need to pay attention to;For teachers with different levels of coaches,level I and level II coaches should improve their professional knowledge and professional ability.Teachers who have not obtained the technical level of coaches need to constantly strengthen the learning of professional knowledge and improve their interpersonal relationship processing ability.
