This thesis mainly takes the antique utensils produced during the Yuan and Ming dynasties and excavated by archaeological excavations as the research object,analyzes the types of utensils and ornaments,systematically summarizes their era and regional characteristics,and further explores the cultural connotations expressed.The full thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction,which defines the spatio-temporal scope and specific concepts of antique vessels during the Yuan and Ming dynasties,and reviews the discovery and research of antique vessels during the Yuan and Ming dynasties,and summarizes the shortcomings of past research.The second chapter mainly uses materials and vessel types as standards to distinguish the published antique utensils of the Yuan and Ming dynasties,and discusses the sources and uses of antiques in combination with the ritual diagrams.The third chapter mainly studies the typology of antique vessels during the Yuan and Ming dynasties according to their materials and ornamental characteristics,and briefly discusses the origin of antique ornaments and the connotation of ornaments.The fourth chapter is a study of the overall staging and partitioning of antique vessels during the Yuan and Ming dynasties.First of all,it is divided into five periods:early Yuan Dynasty,middle and late of Yuan Dynasty,early Ming Dynasty,middle Ming Dynasty,and late Ming Dynasty,summarizing the characteristics of its era,and combining historical documents,analyzing the reasons for the changes in the period from factors such as systems,customs,religions,ritual maps,and handicrafts.After that,a regional study of antique utensils during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties is carried out,which is divided into four major regional plates: Inner Mongolia,Shaanxi,Gansu and Yu regions,the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,and the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,summarizing the characteristics of each region,and finally analyzing the reasons for its regional changes in combination with the literature.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
