Research On Improvisation Of Jazz Piano Music

Piano improvisation plays an important role in jazz,although piano improvisation is restricted by some objective factors,it has not received sufficient attention,piano improvisation and jazz itself are developing in the country and the theoretical system has been gradually improved.The previous scholars’ research on jazz mainly focused on its stylistic characteristics,characters and works,history and teaching,there is still room for research into the improvisations that assume the middle part of jazz that deserves more attention and analysis.Therefore,this paper focuses on the creation and performance of improvisation on the basis of jazz system.The emergence of jazz piano improvisation is influenced by the objective factors of creation which plays an integral part in the musical structure of jazz.The performance of the riff is built on the harmonic progression of the theme,it is composed of a 2-5-1 structure or a blues12-bar harmony,explore the changes of harmony in structure through musical notation.The tonality scale of jazz is based on pentatonic mode by changing the pitch and increasing the step,we derive the scale composition of different structures and according to the idea of existing mode constitution,the possibility of other modes to construct jazz mode is explored.The modes used to compose the melody are based on harmony,between harmonies the use of "anticipation and suspension" creation techniques to enrich the choice of mode,gain experience through the use of microtones,negative harmonies in jazz compositions by musicians.Jazz improvisation practices are built on piano technique by using both classical and jazz piano techniques,imitating the sounds of other instruments and other non-instruments.The jazz style of piano improvisation requires a combination of shallow and deep training which is the skill training,the score itself and the musical content outside the score,pauses in improvisation are similar to the blank art of painting,it is of reference value to the creation of relaxation and improvisation.The aesthetic concept of jazz includes flaws,in addition to the performance of the wrong note,the restoration of flawed early recordings also illustrates this aesthetic concept.Improvisation uses musical theme material for processing to train the thinking of music adaptation and creation.The fusion of jazz with other musical styles has great potential,musicians’ fusion of jazz and Chinese music provides a new carrier for piano improvisation.
