A Case Study Of Exhibition Design:"The Glamour Of Carved Symbols Of Liangzhu Culture"

The complete wall of Liangzhu ancient city ruins,the huge external network water conservancy system and the hierarchical burial system have proved that Liangzhu culture has entered the early stage of civilization.As an important part of Liangzhu culture,Liangzhu characterization symbols are an important research object of the origin of Chinese characters.In recent years,the data collection and research on the portrayal symbols of Liangzhu Culture have never stopped.However,there is no in-depth study on how the portrayal symbols of Liangzhu Culture spread and display in the museum,a display space that bears the functions of social education and cultural inheritance.How to overcome the limitations of the portrayal symbol itself,accurately and vividly convey the content of the exhibition text to the audience,how to construct the narrative display space,and then display the portrayal symbol of Liangzhu culture from multiple dimensions and angles is the focus of this paper.This paper mainly focuses on the form design of the exhibition text content of ’The Glamour of Carved Symbols of Liangzhu Culture’.Based on the relevant information of the Liangzhu Culture period and the full understanding and cognition of the status and value of the symbols portrayed by the Liangzhu Culture,the author clarifies the logical structure of the display text and the purpose of communication of each unit,grasps the highlights and key points of the exhibition,and completes the conception and interpretation of the formal design with the help of narrative theory.Finally,combined with this practice,the author provides corresponding suggestions for the display design of symbolic theme exhibitions.The full text is divided into five chapters,summarized as follows :The first chapter points out the reasons for choosing this topic,and then makes a brief introduction to the research background of Liangzhu culture characterization symbols and the present situation of characterization symbols exhibition.On the basis of connecting the design ideas and practices of museums at home,the main research objects and research methods of this paper are clarified.The second chapter analyzes and evaluates the dissemination purpose,exhibition theme and text structure of the existing ’ The Glamour of Carved Symbols of Liangzhu Culture’,and then makes appropriate changes to the text volume according to the objective situation.The third chapter mainly transforms the modified display text into the actual formal design scheme under the guidance of narrative theory.The design and conception of graphic layout,digital media exhibition,color and lighting are explained in detail.Finally,the final effect of the exhibition hall is displayed after combing the whole story.This chapter also laid a practical foundation for the following symbolic theme exhibition form design recommendations.The fourth chapter of symbolic theme exhibition common understanding,combined with the above practice,for symbolic theme exhibition form design put forward suggestions for reference.The fifth chapter After a brief overview of the paper,I reflect on the deficiencies in this study and look forward to the further design of the scheme.
