The Transformation Of Liang Shuming’s Theory Of Psychological Structure And Its Reasons （1920-1940）

From 1920 s to 1930 s,Liang Shuming’s theory of psychological structure went through an important transformation.His division of human psychology changed from the original dichotomy of "reason" and "instinct" to the dichotomy of "reason","instinct" and "rationality".This ideological transformation of Liang Shuming is of great significance.This transformation solved the problems he encountered in theory and practice.Theoretically,the new psychological structure theory introduces the concept of "rationality",which takes "rationality" as the body,and the new model goes beyond the opposition between "instinct" and "reason",clarifies the connotation of the original "instinct",affirms the instrumental value of "reason",and makes it possible to affirm the value orientation of science and democracy.After that,"rationality" gradually developed into the core of his psychological structure theory.In practice,Liang Shuming designed a complete rural construction scheme based on the principle of "rationality",which have seeking value support for rural construction and China’s modernization.In the 1930 s,under the guidance of this plan,Liang Shuming carried out rural construction in Zouping,Shandong Province.This paper holds that the internal contradiction of the theory of dichotomy psychological structure is one of the reasons for the transformation of Liang Shuming’s thought.By combing the specific process and relevant literature of Liang Shuming’s ideological transformation,this paper believes that the internal contradiction of dichotomy psychological structure theory mainly includes philosophical theory and value orientation.The proposal of Liang Shuming’s three-part psychological structure theory solves the contradiction between the two aspects of the two-part psychological structure theory,and lays the foundation of Liang Shuming’s whole philosophical thought.
